Gorgeous hotel. The room was large and felt very luxurious. We ate there on the first evening and the food was great and very good value. The welcome from staff was brilliant - very friendly and helpful.

Evening pizza, breakfast & coffee very good. We had to eat in the bar & conservatory due to our little dog. Loved her doggy welcome pack.

The corridor leading to the bedrooms could perhaps benefit from hazard strips to indicate the little steps. Car parking- we managed to park outside the hotel by chance overnight & moved the car to a car park next morning. Under stand the lack of parking with the hotel due to its great town location.

Food, facilities and staff were all exceptional, very impressed with this boutique hotel. Special mention to Josh who really looked after our party of 4, super hospitality.

Great location

Xmas eve the bar closed at 10, my relatives were staying specially so family could meet and enjoy the evening. We were less than politely rushed out. Breakfast Xmas day was flat! No festive atmosphere at all. All in all it felt like staff weren’t wanting to be there. We appreciate it was Xmas but either close or make guests welcome.

The hotel is a lovely and relaxed place to stay. The staff are very good, the food very good and the rooms well furnished with some lovely details.

We liked all of it and will return to the hotel. We may look for a brighter room next time if we can as the furnishings and lighting were a little dark but that is a personal preference.

Despite a bit of a mishap with heating and hot water on the first day of my stay..the stay was enjoyable. the heating and water rectified on day 2. Which was fortunate. A discount for the inconvenience at the end of my stay was a great touch .Thankyou. staff were lovely .Thank you

Unfortunately kitchen renovations. We had heard it was a great meal. Perhaps the room rate could have been reduced because of this.

Staff so attentive. Room always spotless which is the main thing that makes us return! Bed comfy. Also they treat my dog like a guest not an unfortunate accompaniment!

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, clean, and nicely furnished rooms with Nespresso machine, hairdryer. Location was excellent in middle of Shaftesbury. Would stay again if we ever go back to Shaftesbury. We booked a standard double but I think our room was upgraded to a premium as it was very spacious.

Not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues, our room was on 2nd floor and disabled lift only goes to 1st floor.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous room which was very comfortable. Lots of little extra touches. Only stayed one night as we were visiting family. Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast with fresh and healthy produce. Nice room with thoughtful details.

Unfortunately we had booked dinner in the bar area as our choice of timing was not available in the restaurant - if we had known that there would be a DJ making any type of talking impossible there we would have taken the later slot at the restaurant! Just something that the staff should really have warned us about as we ended up going somewhere else to eat.
