Excellent friendly staff and good clean comfortable accommodation. Good breakfast and evening meals.

Clean rooms, fridge a bonus. Good portions for breakfast. Nice to have King bed when your tall.

Mattress in room 3 could use a topper.

I’ve been to lots of b&bs but this was by far the best. From first arriving the welcome was great,the room was gorgeous the food outstanding and the whole time we were there everyone was so attentive . The owner went out of his way for us. I will definitely be back and if I could rate above 10 I would ?

Nothing negative at all

It's a lovely place and we enjoyed it . We like that it's chalet style rooms and finding the mice on the mouse man furniture was lovely . We didn't get a chance to book for a meal as we had already made other arrangements . But from seeing families and friends enjoying meals they did look lovely and we're popular.

For us , we found the bed a bit hard . But that is personal choice rather than anything against the premises

The food & service at dinner were excellent!

Check-in was chaotic, stressful, & took awhile because the staff also handles the restaurant. The breakfast server seemed out of sorts.

Well appointed and very comfortable room at a reasonable price with breakfast included in tariff. Also had dinner at Inn as it was more convenient than travelling to Thirsk. Both were good.

Friendly staff, rooms were nice and spacious for 2 people and the outdoor area of the pub was great.

Very difficult to get a taxi from the area during the week but no fault of the accommodation.

The rooms were very well equipped with everything you could need. There was a huge walk in shower. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The restaurant served a good breakfast and the evening menu was also excellent, the owners were very hospitable and the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Outside to the rear there is a huge terraced patio facing lawns and trees there is also room in the ample sized car park for camper vans.

Stayed two nights for a birthday celebration. Spacious comfortable room, and refurbished shower room, and with plenty of tea and coffee. Pub food is excellent and Sunday lunch amazing. Short drive or leisurely walk into Thirsk Market Square and other outdoor activities nearby. Lovely.

A friendly pub with lovely, clean accommodation and food that you just can’t beat, with so much choice and we prefer to eat here than go anywhere else.

Been before 8yrs ago was fantastic then as it is now lunch dinner and breakfast was fantastic we don't live that far from here will definitely be back for food the choice on the menu is plentiful so much more I'd like to try ?

TV reception not great. Bed a bit too hard.

Paper thin walls, could hear everything from room next door. Very hard bed. View of large dustbins from our window.

We had a lovely, very comfortable two night stay at Old Oak Tree - everything was to our satisfaction the room was spotless - the food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were so friendly and welcoming - looking forward to returning and would definitely recommend ?

There was nothing at all we could find fault with.

The accommodation is purpose built chalet rooms each with their own separate entrance, very nicely designed for the perfect visit with en-suite offering a very modern walk in shower; a dedicated cupboard space for the drinks-making facilities, a small fridge - which is not often seen - and the excellent dining experience- this is a gem of an establishment which we were delighted to have found.

Absolutely stunning room we had a lovely stay and are coming back in June for 2 nights as we were at a wedding so didn’t get to use the facilities !!

It's on a very busy road, and the traffic noise was intrusive, especially early morning
