Friendly mannerly staff

Friendly staff.Comfortable soft bed, no corridor noise.I love having tea & coffee making facilities!

Cold water on Sunday morning. I had the option of a cold bath or a cold shower so I did the second. Not nice.I appreciate the hotel was pretty full on the Saturday night but if the plumbing can’t cope with the demand for hot water, perhaps the plumbing needs upgrading? Would expect hot water at a hotel costing atound £90 a night.

Mahons is a lovely hotel with genuine and friendly staff and is a welcome change from franchise hotels where we were greeted with warmth and personality from the staff.The bar area and indeed the hotel itself is full of interesting collections of antiques and memorabilia and I spent hours looking around at all the different peculiarities.Service was great, room was spacious and clean and I loved every minute

That I didn't have time on my itinerary to stay longer!

I have stayed in Mahons hotel twice and have always found it to be reasonably priced with good food and entertainment and very friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

The room was spacious and spotless. Plenty of towels and hot water. Tea and coffee making facilities. Places to hang coats. Able to open the window if needed. Bath toiletries provided. Excellent free parking.

Lots of stairs so not suitable for everyone but it was fine for us (room 223). Nowhere to hang wet towels.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Food served was very good and prices were reasonable.

All the staff were really friendly and made us all feel really welcome, the craic in the bar was good and the live music was great

Both our rooms were very out dated, everything in both our rooms could be doing with a full refurbishment.

Excellent breakfast. Good choice and portions. The hotel is in an excellent location for touring the loughs and the Sligo and Donegal coastline. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Giant bed, quiet location, nice bathroom.

No charging point for phone. I forgot my plug thinking that there would be a usb port. Not a major problem. Hairdryer didn’t work (room 107).Thank goodness the heating was on as the snow was on the ground.

Brackfast was first class

We found the room cold and couldn't use it during the day as the heating was turned off

The lift broke the last day and we had a ton of luggage. Not enough outlets in the room

it's very central with easy access to bedrooms.plenty of room in the bedroom . greeted by friendly staff wherever I went .nice dining room with a very good breakfast

Excellent friendly staff from check in through to check out .Food is first class especially the fresh cooked breakfast served in a beautiful dining area.

Slight smell from shower curtain

A lovely cosy place with good food and friendly atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the service was second to none. I would definitely stay again.
