    • The staff! They were abosolutely great! Nice, kind, helpful, friendly.
    • I was here for 2 weeks and the room was great, the service was good, and the drinks are reasonably priced in the pub downstairs. Wi-fi is strong enough to work remotely in the room, and there are tons of meal options close to the hotel if you don't want to eat in the pub every night. I also had no problem getting to central London at most times of the day.

    Cons -

    • We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and we didn?t really have a good experience. The temperature in London was almost zero degrees celsius, and they decided to turn the heat off after 12 midnight, the manager said it?s on a timer, which was a bad idea.
    • The smell...the rooms stink like moldy carpet.
    • It was part of an English pub

It was convenient to all the things we wanted to do in the area and away from the city.

It was part of an English pub

    Friendly staff

Loud bass with karaoke until midnight kept us awake until midnight as it was below our bedroom in their pub; peeling wallpaper in bedroom and wall damage in bathroom, tiny sink with no plug outlet in bathroom, poor WiFi, walked out mid morning to our car returned to find all doors locked to hotel. Notified Natalie on booking.com of our overcharge the first night and decision to not stay the second night. She never resolved our issue.

In city I needed to stay in

Parking essentially non-existent. “free parking” only for 4 cars and reserved in advance. NO hot, or even lukewarm water (until we told the front desk at breakfast-time. Water warmed up after breakfast. Stained sheet. Narrow stairs making carrying luggage difficult.

My room was cozy and well equipped. The staff responded to all my queries quickly and were overall very friendly and helpful. Train and underground stations are in walking distance from the location and of course a nice pub is just downstairs.

The room under the roof was small and the ceiling very low, therefore not so good for tall people.

Very friendly staff, clean and cosy room. Delicious breakfast made to order. For us the location was excellent. Very easy access to Heathrow airport. We also liked the courtyard where you could sit and enjoy a pint...

The internet for guests was not good.

Less than 10 minute walk to the Piccadilly Line, great local atmosphere, friendly host and patrons in the pub, clean roo

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.

The room was a bit small.

Shortish train ride from airport . Near the train station. The price was right and the tube is so easy to get to the sights in other parts of the city. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. Dinner in the pub was delicious.

Room was right over the door to the pub, where everyone smoked and chatted. Not too bad for being above a pub. Expected, I suppose. Earplugs worked but the room smelled like decades of tobacco smoke. The mattress needs to be replaced. It felt like I was falling off when I rolled over but was just rolling into the dip. ? Dips on both sides ?

Staff friendly. Room value for money.

Fire alarm going off at 03 30 hours

Did not have breakfast due to the cost for what previously was a poor offering. The room was clean and comfortable enough, with a small bathroom with a good shower & plenty of hot water.

The fact I could not get out in the morning ? I tried to attract attention with no joy, then when checking out the exit doors the burglar alarm went off & continued but still no one came. All the doors were bolted & key locked apart from one which was bolted top & bottom, so I undid the bolts and exited leaving the room key on a table. Also I was told a vat receipt would be emailed to me, still not received.

    Location and breakfast great

The staff having full blown row behind the bar due to barmaid serving someone after last orders rang!!. Also the clientele was to be desired. Quite a number were drunk and there was karaoke when we stayed which meant no chance of having a quiet drink. We've stayed before and it's definitely gone down in our expectations since the last time we stayed.

Great location and parking.Pleasant walk to Twickenham stadium.

Staff were pleasant when checking in plenty of information. Room was comfortable with good WiFi coverage.

Pub below was a bit tatty.

    8NeilPosted on: 2-24-2025

Easy to find, parking, clean room. Good atmosphere in the bar.

    8JonPosted on: 2-23-2025

Great location and real friendly staff, stayed there due to the location for Twickenham Stadium (20 min walk)

Prices can get inflated due to events in the area, don’t like it when hotels do this! but except this is very much normal practice for any hotel.

The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in.The shower was great too.

There were some cobwebs high up on the lights.
