Great room, great food and excellent landlady.

Quiet location, excellent english breakfast, good beer selection

service at breakfast was slow

The room was stunning - so stylish, super comfy bed, lush shower and a balcony over looking the common. And, it was so peaceful and restorative - just what I needed. :)

There is nothing I didn't like.

We stayed in one of the boutique bedrooms. It was spacious, stylish and cosy, small balcony adjacent to the room which you can sit out on, read maybe and overlook the green opposite. The food at dinner and breakfast was fabulous as well as the service!

We had no complaints and were pleasantly surprised with the venue and the huge effort that has gone into it

Excellent location. Fantastic Friday night vibe, great choice of drinks inc. Shepherd Neame's own. Super friendly but efficient staff. Tremendous beautifully cooked and presented Enlgish Breakfast. Easy street parking. Amazing rooms!! Well done The Crown. Well done Mario the Manager.

We didn't have our evening meal here so cannot comment. A fellow guest wasn't thrilled with her dinner the night before. But who knows!

Clean well presented rooms good staff and breakfast

Beautiful bedrooms and superb breakfast. Unfortunately the lift was not usable but I did manage the stairs.

Good food and service, easy check in, nice room

Might be good to supply a mini-toothpaste with each room.

Still retained pub atmosphere but also a food was high end restaurant standard and rooms were beautiful! Service was very attentive staff really cared that we had a good stay!

Room was lovely and spacious. Not sure what area of the pub was underneath, could hear doors banging - this stopped later at night as I expected it would. Bathroom nice, coffee/tea set up good, quiet hall area. Parking was easy, breakfast was good. Nice towels, hand lotion, shower and shampoo products. Bottle of water was a nice touch too.

Nothing we didn't like, could do with a bath mat so that the floor didn't get wet.

Fab location, easy to park, easy access to London routes/major roads.

Staff were amazing and so friendly. Food was fab, fast service!! Clean room, tea/coffee supplies provided, comfortable bed!!! Live music was a really nice touch, such a great atmosphere!!

The room was lovely and comfortable.We love the balcony.

Check out was a little early on a sunday. Would be nice to have it be a little later.

Avoid check-in /check out during school hours as road outside is narrow & you cant get in or out for parents on school run

Lovely pub with rooms. Quiet location. The food in the restaurant was a pub type menu but exceptional food and a good price for the quality. Breakfast was equally glorious.

Lovely place to eat and stay. Very clean and service was fabulous. We had lunch and breakfast and it was all amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and had everything you could think of. The breakfast gad a large variety and was delicious.

Only small issues with the bathroom. There was no shower gel and the wall shower head didn’t stay up but itself so if you wanted a shower without washing your hair it made it very difficult.

Wonderful location, gorgeous pub and hotel, really classy room with lots of little perks (nespresso coffee etc), big comfy bed and a lovely breakfast. I’d definitely return to the area and stay here again with my wife.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was wonderful and we loved the location. A peaceful stay.

The music could be heard very slightly from down in the bar, which was unfortunate but it wasn't on until late and when in the bar itself, it wasn't being played particularly loud, its just how the layout & building is.

Make sure you order breakfast by 10.30pm. We were told it was 11 and had to argue the fact that is what we were told by a member of staff. They reluctantly gave it to us. I think it depends who is working on the day
