Glendevon House Hotel

When we were flooded out of our home we were pleased to find this comfortable convenient local hotel with it's friendly helpful staff. We had a large room with an enormous bed and en-suite. We are grateful to all the staff.

Need to run the hot water for a while to get it hot but it is an old house with character.

Love this little boutique hotel great location, friendly staff , have stayed several times but love the jacuzzi in 1 of the bedrooms there its my favourite

Shower head was broken and falling off. Plumbing needs work. Room was cold but on the second night the staff brought in a space heater!

Location close to Bickley station to head into London, area is nice too, very quiet. Good size room, bath big enough for 2, comfy bed.

Bathroom was very cold, seems the radiator didn't work but as it was a 2 night stay, didn't bother to mention it

Room was spacous and clean, had everything needed including microwave which is a bonus.for heating food if needed. Bathroom was really nice and easy to use.

Hotel is a budget Hotel although the breakfast is very nice, rooms are not as displayed and could do with a little TLC, staff could not have done any more for us during our stay, very pleasant and accomodating

Rooms could have been bit cosier

The property was in a good location. Not far from public transport if needed. The bedroom was clean and tidy. Each room was clean the en-suite is compact but functional.

The bedroom could do with updating the decor.

Accommodation was comfortable and clean . Facilities good . Few guests when we stayed . One guest noisy in the early hours.

Breakfast was OK but a bit haphazard . You had to order it the day before for a specific time and it was delivered to your table in one instance with a knock at the door telling you it (hot cooked breakfast) was waiting for you!

The room was ok, even though it was dated. The bathroom was actually nice, and the room had a fridge. All clean and totally suitable.

The location was convenient for what I needed, but it's not really close to anything (no shops/ cafes etc). The main thing to point out was how uncomfortable the bed was - that mattress definitely needs an upgrade! An expensive experience for what you're getting out of it, but unfortunately, there aren't many other options in the area.

Walls and floors paper thin kids running around upstairs till late. Man above me kept me up all night constantly coughing and going toilet and flushing it all night. I only got an hour sleep all night not happy. I know some one complained and wanted to move to another hotel.

The place was outstanding. Service with a big smile very helpful outstanding breakfast hot and on time.

Very convenient bus transport outside on street. Bed very comfortable and bathroom good. Breakfast was available and staff friendly. Very good value.

The location is good if you need a place in/around Bromley. Easy walk from Bickley station, lots of connecting busses from Bromley south and has parking lots as well. The hotel is a bit old but in general the feeling is good. The room size was good enough for two, bright and light with large windows. Room facilities were enough (dryer, lots of usb charging ports, tv, tea/coffee compliments, shampoo, etc) Staff was friendly check in and out was easy.

A hotel room should be hygienic for the guests. The pillows were old and did not give a fresh feel at all. I used a tshirt as cover. The bed was too soft, we both had back pain in the morning. The door base between the room and ensuite bathroom was dirty. The rooms are renovated at some point but does not meet today’s hotel quality & hygiene standards. For the sake of Price/value the hygiene and sleep quality should be improved. The day after we stayed at a4 star hotel in central London for almost the same price with highest hotel standards.

Shower head flithy shower base dirty Single beds pushed together ended up sandwiched in between beds only thing that stopped me from dropping to the floor was the sheet..no duvet..pillows that ware out were like so flat..and the Biggest thing that I'm am disgusted over is ur mattress r so so stained very unhygienic I wish I had of looked before sleeping in the bed cos I would of left the hotel and slepted in my car so no i wouldnt psy u snything to stay at ur hotel even if u offered me a free stay I'd refuse..u really really.need.to look at hygiene cos it hotel does not meet standards u should if im honest close and clean every inch of.ur.hotel as.well as.get.new.mattresses
