London Backpackers Youth Hostel 18 - 35 Years Old Only

The staff was very kind and they really made you feel like home. There were things to do each day if you wanted to with other guests staying there. They had a washing machine and the kitchen was well equipped.

The workers are friendly and helpful. Marit, Nelly, and Ryan do a good job holding down the fort. Very tasty family meals as well. There are social activities and I especially love the basement pool hangout area and kitchen. As well as late night pizza runs from next door. The hostel is fun and a good way to meet travelers.

I needed to keep a window open in my room otherwise it got too stuffy. The showers could be better too. I also wish the basement and kitchen were 24 hours but then I may never sleep

I stayed for 5 days but there weren't as many social programmes as I was expecting.

The hostel is well located, next to the train station so going to the city center or traveling to other cities was easy. There were some restaurants nearby with affordable prices and there is a supermarket crossing the street to buy groceries! The staff was friendly and kind. Also the place was cleaner than expected. I had my doubts regarding the shared bathroom for women, but they really take care of the cleaning and well maintenance so there were not issues. Also, the breakfast is good for the price. There are some activities going on, so it's a good place to make friends or meet people!

The staff were lovely, and went out of their way to make me stay enjoyable. The shared meals put on over the week were super fun, and were great for encouraging connections between the people staying there.

The showers were not good enough, luke-warm water at best (sometimes no water) operated by push-buttons, doors that didn't lock, cramped, and with nowhere to put your clothes.

Really good value self laundry service but only one available for whole hostel. Friendly staff. Clean overall. Not bad breakfast option.

Quite far from city center in zone 3 of transport but was very close to tube line.

The shower and the toilets are too far apart from the rooms

When i reached there they told me that last week your stay was there and now in next 60 days you cant book this place ok booking.com and they ask me to cancelled your booking from there

It was very comfortable, great hosts, helpful and kind, safe. Good location very close to metro station and good values for money The wifi was free.

Marihuana smell in the room (some guests rolled joint in the room).

It is little bit farer away from the town , but it is right next to the subway station. Really convenient and they have a kitchen to cook. The price is cheap.

Scottish staff member was excellent and very kind. As were the other gentlemen. Comfy beds and good pizza place next door.

Having to pay a deposit for my room keycard in cash with no cash machines nearby. No towels a L. Socket exploded near my head in room d5. Pillow not big enough. A rather aggressive brunette staff member working on the door made me feel quite unwelcome. Ignorant hostelgoers talking and doing godknowswhatelse at 2:30 am then doubling down on their behaviour as if it’s at all appropriate when asked kindly to keep the noise down.

The facilities appeared reasonably clean, and I appreciated the storage space under the bed and the privacy curtains. However, the room got very cold overnight, and the lack of a private bathroom was inconvenient. The location wasn’t very central, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit depressing. The property itself is quite outdated and reminded me more of an old school building than a hostel.

The manager came across as rude to both staff and guests, which created a hostile atmosphere from the start. His attitude made it hard to feel welcome. I barely saw him after that, which made things a little easier, but the environment overall still didn’t feel friendly or relaxed.

They charge 5£ for key card, they insisted it must be cash payment if you pay with card they won’t refund the £5.Absolute scam
