King Solomon Hotel- Golders Green

Location and access to bus and metro station

We were stay at 104 room from 1 to 4 of April, there is possibly my daughter left her headphone during check out,, but it was reported by the cleaner it was not there

Very friendly staff

Worn out mattress, small shower, creaky floorboards, paper thin walls, no microwave, only 1 power outlet in the room, no vending machines or snack bar

The shower was good

There was no heating in the room. That¿s just it. I froze all night. I usually carry a portable heater around. So this may be unfair for this hotel that I didn¿t care it this time. So this is my only problem and not sure if its the hotels fault.

nearly impossible to get to a room without three or four fire doors and steps each time to navigate. Don't go if you can't pick up your luggage and carry it easily. Wifi is intermittent and generally unreliable.

bed was really bad - springs sticking into my back. Also, no light controllable from the bed area - had to walk to bed in the dark.

The location is excellent, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a six-minute walk to the train station and other buses to central London, including Oxford Street, Covent Garden, and Piccadilly; transport is affordable and efficient, the hotel is in a quiet area, has a beautiful coffee space in the reception, and offers free parking

Unfortunately, the room cleaning did not meet expectations, as the bathroom and shower were not properly cleaned, bins were not emptied, bed linen was not changed, towels were sometimes insufficient, the heating was turned off on one day (although a small heater was provided), and despite many complaints, the noise from neighbours continued for three nights, preventing us from sleeping, even though quiet hours are stated in the Booking.com amenities

Nice and quiet area within walking distance of the tube station. Restaurants, coffee shops, a supermarket, and a laundromat within easy distance.

The room was on the second floor and could only be reached via a steep and very narrow staircase, making it very difficult to carry luggage up and down, with no help from staff.

Because of the way the heater is operated. It was extremely hot in the room. We had to open all the windows at night to the maximum just to get the room to cool down. That hotel was great value, but I wish we could get that heater to be completely off.

Convenient location, only ten minutes walk from the station. Very comfortable beds.

It didn’t bother me as I could open a window (or two) in October, but it might be too warm in the summer if the weather is hot. (I will be happily staying there again in March)

I slept better than I do at home. The beds were very comfortable. It is about ten minutes away from the Northern Line tube station, Golders Green, and there are food shops on the way between

The parking was crowded, and a car was backed up against my car.The smell in the room was not pleasant.

Clean. Nice bathroom. Staff were helpful. Close to shops and restaurants.

Location

The location was convenient, but unfortunately the stay was disappointing. The room had an unpleasant smell, the carpet was always very wet, the bedding was not changed during our stay exept the towels and the room size was extremely small compared to the photos. Overall, it did not meet our expectations.
