Maltings Hotel

Room was spacious and recently refurbished, i stayed in room 10 which was nice and quiet. Room serviced everyday and staff couldn't of been more helpful.

The wall panel radiator needs instructions as i had to google to work out how to use it

Clean, relaxed environment, excellent food and affordable

Clean, great staff, excellent food and a relaxing environment

Very friendly staff. Decent room. Excellent shower. Strong WiFi. Very nice food. Reasonably priced.

Great rooms, spacious, clean with fantastic shower! Friendly staff and owner with a lovely Indian restaurant attached offering fantastic options of delicious food. Great value for money with breakfast included. Will definitely recommend and will return.

There should be a menu offered at breakfast, as well as the English breakfast. It would be a nice touch to offer soft or well done fried eggs and ensuring all items are hot as unfortunately mushrooms were stone cold and fried eggs were cooked solid. It would be nice to have lighter options, including morning rolls with sausage or bacon, etc, or toast with jams/marmalade. Instead brioche buns were offered but they are not the same as morning rolls.

Price.

Room got cold and could not put on electric fire. The duvet could have been of heavier tog.

Great hidden gem, a little dated but rooms comfortable, clean and have everything you needed. Bathroom lovely and modern! Food was really good, exceeded our expectations and much better than the 4 star hotel nearby. Also very friendly helpful staff, couldnt fault anything!

Room seemed clean. Bathroom was clean and quite new.

Small rooms. Restaurant was closed so nowhere to get dinner. Very disappointing.

The shower was very goood! The roomWas very well decorated. Was very nice place especially for the price that I paid. Shame we didn’t get there on time for the curry house, heard it is very good.

Friendly staff throughout the staff and amazing food

Nothing, little dated in some areas but for the price, you cant expect anything else

Room and shower brilliant tea and coffee in room towels changed daily great bed

Not suitable for people with disabilities as two flights of stairs

Most of it. The room was clean and comfortable . Staff were lovely and friendly and made our stay excellent,,,

Smooth check-in, clean and comfortable

The facilities and decor in the room were absolutely fantastic, only downside for me was that the bed wasn’t very comfortable, but otherwise I couldn’t fault this hotel, and the adjoining bar was a great wee pub as well.

As I said, the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

Breakfast was not included in our booking, we had a choice of adding it later but we didn't as we planned on going out everyday early

Everything was nice and clean, however, I had to ask when our room will be cleaned after we passed 2 days of being there, so the receptionist gave me some reason which I still don't understand why,but to me whatever the reason, its a hotel and cleaning must be done.

The staff were very welcoming.. Great service throughout our stay for 2 nights. The bar is also the local pub and the locals are a personable friendly group.A fantastic array of stories. Great whisky choices. We stayed whilst we visited Knockhill Race circuit. Fantastic value for money and the whole place is being renovated so the restaurant is currently closed but you can eat in the bar area.

Nothing , although it is a 10/15min drive to Dunfermline centre, there are buses and Uber too though.

I'd booked the superior room for my best friend and partner as they live quite a distance from me, and my bedrooms at home were used for adult kids/partners due to a large family party. She said it was lovely staying there so I'm very happy she's happy

She never mentioned.

Comfy bed, clean and fresh towels daily

The shower was not very powerful and pulsed rather than flowed. Good enough for a wash but not washing long hair

Easy check-in, great location near supermarkets and bus stops and restaurant just in the hotel

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean

Low pressure on shower, cubicle at an angle, so water running off onto the floor.
