Pros +
- Nice people, good restaurant and good parking
- Asked for a double bed mattress they put 2 single mattress on it it was very restless
- Good value comfortable room
Cons -
- The room was very comfortable and good value but there were several small issues that were not enough to break the stay but did build up: The pump dispensers in the bathroom did not work, the shower mixer did not work and only gave cold water to the shower, room booked for three but only 2 mug and 2 glasses, room yes not working
- Shower wasn't working, we have reported it, but action was taken to fix it. Have all inclusive breakfast, but all we wanted were unavailable.Room key wasn't working and we had to go to the bar to reset the key couple of times.
- There was no fridge in the room. We really could have used one.

Fantastic location in dunfermline lots of places nearby cinema etc The restaurant was very good me and my sister in law had a carvery meal which was very tasty...Breakfast also lots of choice
The staff were extremely friendly. Check in was super quick and easy and their breakfast was good too! The rooms were comfortable and clean!
Next to pub with decent well priced food.
The room was very clean and the staff very friendly.
There was no fridge in the room. We really could have used one.
The room was spacious and with good lights. It was close to the restaurant and had a big parking lot.
We had two situations: 1. One night, around 11.50 pm the room door was opened while we were sleeping!! It was frightening. We just saw the light from the hall, started screaming and the door was closed. When we went to reception to ask what happened, they said the room was cancelled for that night on booking and they wanted to give the room to other guests (without cleaning it??!) and so, they activated the card for other guests who managed to open the door (although it was locked on the inside??!). They said they were sorry and would give us a refund - no refund was received, and they are not answering any messages. 2. Our friends' room had a shower that did not work, there was no water pressure and the reception said they could not do anything about it as it was weekend.I would not recommend anyone staying here.
The hotel is situated in a peaceful area, with plenty of dining options available nearby.
There is no direct bus connection to central Edinburgh from this location, which made commuting a bit inconvenient. Additionally, we spotted large bed bugs crawling around the room, which was very unsettling and unacceptable.
decent clean room, value for moneylarge enough for a family of 2 +1
It was a good motel located in the middle of a shopping center with lots of restaurants and fast food chains. The room was big, comfortable and nice. You get a very filling full Scottish breakfast in the hotel pub/restaurant for just 10 gbp, so its quite nice.
Nothing actually.
This was a one night stopover before heading to the airport and it served our needs well. Clean room, nice staff and a great place to eat. There are also plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity.
We only had 2 pillows in our room. My husband went back to reception to ask for 2 more and was told all rooms had 4 pillows. ours didn't. What annoyed us was that we only had one room key and every time my husband went to reception, he had to take the room key which also had to be placed in the wall to keep the lights on. I was in the dark all 3 times he went there. Ask for 2 keys!!!
Staff was great!
Did not realize hotel was in shopping center-some noise at night.
It was comfortable, clean, accessible, very friendly staff, very friendly all around, would highly recommend
Nothing I didn’t like
my room was facing main car park n after 11pm the car park was a horn young drivers speed way revving cars n beeping horns till after 3pm
as above
Loved that we could just walk across to the smash burger restaurant which are brilliant for food intolerances & if you are an oat milk drinker they sell it in the Dobbie's garden centre nearby & theres a Costa. There was a bus station really close with lots of regular buses. Also the hotel is very close to an adventure golf , bowling alley & cinema.
The rooms were comfortable but unfortunately they weren't clean. There was dust on the skirtings & we had dust allergies. We got blocked noses from being in the room. The restaurant downstairs doesn't do oat milk & they tried to send me way down the road to find more when I soon discovered I didnt have to go so far. They didn't really accommodate for intolerances & the train stations were quite far along carriage way straights & with suitcases it was quite difficult so we had to rely on buses to the hotel which soon added up the money spent.
Sheets and towels were stained, cleanliness is poor. The room is spacious.
Sheets and towels were stained.
Dissatisfied
We had trouble from the start, the room wasn’t clean, the toilet seat was broken, there was two young girls staying in the room next door making a lot of noise, we were woken up in the night by a group of teenagers outside the hotel making a lot of noise.
Clean and tidy
No towel in the bathroom, when I went down I was told it was behind the door (in which I’d already checked) and told to look again. I ended up just using the hand towel by that point.
