    • Location.

    Cons -

    • Being charged twice for our stay. The room having a shower smaller than a caravan with blood on the tiles and no hot water. Half a toilet roll in the room for an overnight stay. Tiles missing in the swimming pool. Not being given towels after our massage and having to go back to the reception in the spa to request a towel after being told they would br given yo our therapist. The fire alarm going off late at night and no confirmation if we had to evacuate or not. Paid for a 30 minute massage and got 15 mins if your lucky. Dirty spare pillow and towels. Not being able to open the curtains slightly without the whole carpark seeing into the room. No heating in the bathroom and in the bedroom when the curtains were closed they blocked the radiator.
    • There was nothing i didnt like
    • The curtains in the bedroom were torn and the room was tired looking. I arrived about 4pm and couldn’t get into my room immediately as it was not ready!!

Struggling to think of anything above average.

The restaurant food was awful. I was Ben laughed out loud when I seen the fillet steak. It was so small. There was no hot water on the second morning as the boiler had broken.

Location and setting. Good size room, tiered but usable facilities. Breakfast but many small issues.

Cold plates, cold eggs awkward hot drink system. Repeatedly ran out of buffet item. Ordered poached eggs. First day cold and hard. Second day scrambled eggs turned up instead. Third time cold fried eggs. Room service had to be chased on several occasions. Paying upon arrival is a low class feeling. Duvet cover on inside out. Secondarily pillows without pillowcases. Asked to pay a £50 per night deposit on my card. The result was we didn’t spend any additional funds at the venue. Corridors and stairway look very worn and tired.

Well located with beautiful views communal areas well looked after. Staff were outstanding so friendly and accommodating. Complimentary drinks in fridge

Units in rooms need updated as chipped and worn , tho doesnt affect stay. Breakfast not very warm when waiting for items to be refilled more child friendly items.

Nice loation and spa .Very good breakfast

Dinner wasnt good .Service was very slow and our steak was rare instead of medium and chips were burned .

Room was big and spacious, for the most part clean. Beds were very comfy and lots of space. Bathroom was clean, towels were fresh.

There was no travel cot provided even though I requested one in advance, and when staff did bring one up it was chucked inside the door without even a smile. I felt staff weren’t very friendly or helpful (for example I think the use of the spa/pool should be explained at check in rather than written on a piece of paper that not everyone checks over) and the car park is absolutely not big enough for the size of the hotel. Parts of the pool were unclean (the floor for example) and definitely not enough loungers for people - other guests literally were moving people’s towels without asking to claim a bed.

    Good

Had dinner booked missed it by ten mins and wasnt seated for dinner. Turned away had to get a taxi elsewhere for dinner.

    Location outlook and rooms

Cooked breakfast not consistently hot on either morning just disappointing. Parking poorly managed on Saturday night. Would help to have better access to the hotel from the overflow.

Property fine. Didn’t have our booking through Booking.com but staff sorted us out

    Poor service in lounge bar

A great family friendly hotel. Stayed for 1 night with our son (7). We loved the pool and the pool table in the bar. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but had drinks at the bar. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Housekeeping lady was extremely kind and helpful. We will return.

The hotel has excellent facilities and the pool table was an added bonus for my son to play. It could possibly be better if there was a few more things for children to do in the evening.

We had a beautiful family room, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. Loved the glass doors going into the room. Lovely big spacious bed too!

    Nothing!

    9MatthewPosted on: 2-1-2026

Lovely location just off the motorway, good dinner and breakfast options, nice staff. Nice room

We never managed to get through to Spa staff when driving over so couldn’t make a booking

Plenty of car parking spaces and room was good size.

To list a few! Room was very poor, needed upgraded and pull out bed was noisy everytimeyou moved. Spa day wasnt very relaxing as had nothing but kids in the pool area and swimming lessons so pool was divided off! Went to Flemings for dinner, appalling meal for what we paid, however after complaining we did get a glass of prosecco free. Unfortunately we wont be back!

Staff were amazing. Very relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent. Room everything you could want and spa great.

The was nothing not to like

    5LaurenPosted on: 1-31-2026

Spa facilities clean and relaxing however not enough seats

Way too expensive for what it was. Room was nice but fridge wasn’t working and duvet cover was inside out. Price of breakfast is outrageous. Don’t think I’ll be back.
