Ease of access and staff welcome

The breakfast was very poor and fresh fruit wasn’t fresh

Room had a bath after a long journey it was a welcome sight instead of a shower

Radiator in bedroom didn’t work cobwebs ceiling to curtains

Staff were friendly

Room was dated and cold. Bathroom was small legs touched wall when using toilet.

All good although alcoholic drinks are very expensive

the room was clean, good price for the stay, local to shopping centre

there was a cold draft coming from window so the room didn’t keep much heat

Staff were excellent at every interaction. Room was very clean and bed super comfortable. I have stayed in other local hotels and for the very small extra cost it was 100% worth it. Breakfast is prepared for you freshly every day if you want it.

Really good breakfast clean and close to local amenities

The tv in the room didn’t work and me personally like to relax and watch a bit of tv at night and in the morning as an early riser but couldn’t do so do disappointed with that

The bathtub filled in less than one minute. Quickest bath in the west! I requested a quiet room with a bath and a window that opened, and that is what I got. Staff friendly and helpful

At breakfast the fruit, pastries, toast and cereal selection was good. There was a wait of 40 minutes for the cooked breakfast for some reason. There were only about 15 people at breakfast, maybe the kitchen was understaffed.

Decor and atmosphere.Elaine in the dining room had exceptional people skills and made me feel so welcome.

I think the initial person you deal with should be more welcoming. I didn’t feel I mattered until Elaine served me in the dining room. I thought reception gentleman could have asked if I needed help as I had a small case, a backpack, a carry bag and my handbag but he just handed me my key. This would have been such a bonus as the doors are pretty heavy to open. I am in my 70s.

I have been staying at the Moorings on business trips for many years . The staff are always friendly and helpful , nothing is ever too much trouble. I cannot fault this hotel .

Good location, comfortable, clean and well maintained.

I’ll fitting mattress protector and sheet - too small, did not stay over the mattress.

Welcoming staff, good parking and comfy bed .

Staff allowed me to access my room earlier than agreed time at no extra cost. Excellent customer service and the room was just right for what I required. Breakfast was good and I was offered more if I wanted it. Will stay again.

Good hotel busy due wedding day that time

Need more disabled parking as one of them don’t has blue baddie and parking there. I been stay lots of time nothing wrong it just needed more parking

Bed was too hard for my liking, but room was comfortable overall

The upgrade was to a superior room and worth paying £20 extra per night. The room we had before was dated but still nice. And the upgrade just made it a lot better. Bed was so comfortable, and the walk-in shower was amazing.

Price of their breakfast. If it was cheaper, we would have gone elsewhere. Weatherspoons is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
