Great staff. Nice breakfast.

An excellent breakfast. Clean rooms and a good location. Had a three-course dinner on one evening and it was excellent. All the staff were lovely - not fussy but incredibly polite, kind and helpful.
I wasn't impressed by the hospitality tray in the bedroom. Very little was provided and not really suitable for a room for two people. We ended up having to ration our milk.
Beds were comfortable, shower was good
Creaking floors, not enough electrical points and not in the right places - eg at the desk or at each beside
Good not great
One night there was a party below our room that lasted till midnight Base kept us upOther than that nice place
I was a late check in and the night porter was brilliant - chatty, friendly, professional... after a long and busy day he was a "breath of fresh air". Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order with a great choice.
Breakfast and restaurant. Overall appearance. Nice building (not high rise)Glad radiator worked well in our room no 35
Tired, dark, dated rooms
Very comfortable hotel. Breakfast is really good and staff are very helpful. Great location and free parking.
Facilities first class. Excellent staff, especially Junior and Hazel.
Great. Staff were friendly. Very affordable and on the outskirts of the city, it was quiet.
Staff were all really friendly and very helpful. Food was great and they catered very well to gluten free requirements; menu clearly marked and staff knowledgable. Room a little dated but super comfortable and good pressure shower.
Needs a face lift the rooms are tired, the breakfast though was excellent and the staff very friendly
Received a lovely welcome. All staff we came across were very friendly. Lovely lounge area to sit in and rooms were more than adequate.
Breakfast staff were very pleasant and engaging. Had amazing 3 course meal in the evening at dinner dance, couldn't fault it.
No negatives.
The location was perfect and straight off the motorway access. The hotel was very welcoming. Ample parking spaces. Venue for funeral party, staff were excellent.
The food is really good, it is clean and comfortable and a great location ? very affordable and worth the money for what you get.
Little details in the room could be neater done like in the bathroom basin was fitted squint an shower low positioned, but it has zero impact on stay or food.
Welcoming happy staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. Food was excellent. As I had my dog with me, they set up a table in the bar for breakfast and evening meal as dogs were not permitted in the restaurant. Rooms are nice and clean. I liked it at this hotel so much that I am staying there again on my way back from Scotland
Spacious, comfortable room, and soft bed. Bathroom perfectly adequate if a little dated, and door wouldn't close properly. Breakfast was huge, beyond expectation: couldn't eat it all. Dinner was special, for my 80th birthday, with support from all the family.
