    • A standard hotel room facing the main street, but it was quiet. Dinner was good, full Scottish breakfast was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly, and parking was available in the rear. There is a sports bar on the ground floor, but there was no noise audible in our room one floor up. The location for us was good as we wanted a hotel south of Glasgow enroute to London. It is minutes from a Tesco Superstore. The hotel was good value for room and meals.

    Cons -

    • If you are a light sleeper and traveling over the weekend, this may not be the best hotel for you. It sits above a pub that had a DJ playing late. You may hear the guests returning to their rooms early in the morning.
    • Low, low bed & cramped room
    • could have been warmer in the room ( mind you the walls were nearly two feet thick !)

good stop over. Cold room and noisy from the traffic. Didn't serve food after 7.15pm on a weekday but a chippy and Curry house opposite

could have been warmer in the room ( mind you the walls were nearly two feet thick !)

    Clean and spacious rooms

This hotel owns a club there was a party during last night before we had to wake up at 4 and very loud music stayed on after 12 30 couldnt rest before travelling

The room seemed clean. If you want a cheap room then it would be fine.

Got out the car and the street smelled like garbage. It’s over a bar on a loud street. Got to the room and it was clean, but as a solo female traveler I did not feel comfortable. So I left. Nothing in particular happened but you get what you pay for.

The room was exceptionally spacious, clean, and bright. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection to choose from. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay - from arrival to departure. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others.

    Clean and friendly

Breakfast isn't until 10 in the morning which is really bad

    Comfy beds.

The shower tray had a pattern on it that looked like tiny insects. At first I thought it was not clean, only when I tried to clean it did I discover that it was the pattern of the shower tray. I'm sure other guests would have got the wrong impression that it was not clean when it was.Breakfast cost was a flat rate of £10, which would have been very expensive if you only wanted a cup of coffee and a slice of toast instead of a full fry up.

All the staff was nice. The place was clean, and the room, albeit small, was enough for 1 person.

They mention that there is breakfast included. But keep in mind that the breakfast starts at 10:00!!!! I was traveling for work and had to leave around 8 a.m. They did not refund me the price I paid for the breakfast either. Another issue was that the restaurant was reserved in one of the days, so they could not serve anything to eat, because there was some gathering going on.

Lovely place and area. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful when we needed help starting the television. The room was clean and so was the bathroom.

During check-in, we were told breakfast was from 10am. we had to be at another place by 10. There were no facilities to get even a toast for breakfast. I asked if the person on duty could just get us toasts, but the answer was no. we had booked for bed and breakfast. In the room, there were three packets of biscuits. one packet was open and there were only two biscuits in. That put us off for booking the evening meal there. Local eateries were far cheaper than the hotel and with a wider range.

Not much to be honest? The sheets were clean but the twin beds seemed very small, almost like a bunk size .. 2’6 wide and not as long as normal twins. The bathroom was poorly cleaned? although there was fresh towels.

They didn’t start serving breakfast until 10am!! I have never come across this before EVER! I paid extra for breakfast .. they said they will reimburse. We shall see ..

    Location

Absolutely zero security, none to deal with very drunk guest being very loud and obnoxious also trying to enter my room. very loud music underneath the room till gone midnight No way to contact night staff in an emergency without leaving the building to go outside to the adjacent pub

Rooms were modern and clean. Staff friendly and accommodating, especially when we couldn't work the locks. Quiet nights with no disturbance. Lots of TV channels for the teenagers.

WiFi was non in existent in one of our rooms but worked no problem in the other.

Trying to find the car park in the dark was very difficult. I had to phone the hotel to find out how to get into it.

I booked a bed and breakfast, went to have my breakfast in the morning I couldn’t get into the part of the hotel, which was the pub side in the morning where breakfast was served because the shutters were all up but in the information it said it would be open from 7 o’clock for a continental breakfast ! I was trying to get in at 7:30. I found a gentlemen outside sweeping and he opened the shutter for me. What was on offer was not eatable a stale piece of pastry which was uneatable and a banana. A full cooked breakfast wasn’t available till 10 o’clock.
