Friendly staff clean room and good breakfast

The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room was clean, well presented and comfortable. Good breakfast too.

As always staff are pleasant, polite and helpful, hotel clean and well maintained and breakfast as expected.

The doors in the hotel were being replaced on our floor, loud noise started at 0815am, we suffered it until 0925 when we complained. The receptionist stated they would locate the manager and ask the work to stop, however it did not and even became closer to our room 414. Very disappointing

Very good hotel for a stop over.

Difficult to park as it was is on a retail park full of last minute Xmas shoppers.

Excellent location was near the courts where we needed to be for family matters and right by this lovely little town of hamilton free parking and the staff were most professional, polite and very welcoming, the breakfast was plenty to chose from and fresh and hotel was immaculate I would 100 % recommend this hotel Thanks to staff and hotel for making our stay a pleasant one

I have stayed several times at HIE several times. There’s always a warm welcome, spacious clean and quiet room, and a buffet breakfast included too. If I have a small criticism it would be I’m a bit disappointed in the bar food choice. Not to my taste.

Lack of continental breakfast... I.e. Tomatoes sliced cheese and ham, typical continental breakfast. It feels like you are skimping where you shouldn't or need not do

Location and check in time was flexible.

Although we were down for breakfast 30 minutes before the end, they was hardly anything left and no more food was being cooked.

Centrally located but quiet, clean.Kimberley on reception was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially to my two tired young kids.

Just about everything at the Hotel was excellent and especially the staff who were so very kind and courteous. They could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I really appreciated the shower facilities in the bathroom. There was no bath to try and climb into and that was superb for me. I just had to step into it and close the door.

The only issue I had was the height of the soap dispenser in the bathroom. It was far too high which made it challenging to use. Everything else was wonderful!

The staff were amazing. I cannot fault anything about them. Let's just say this, other hotels need to look at what's going on with these staff members and adopt this with their own places, as far as customer service goes.

Breakfast was okay.....but consider service when customers ask for a poached egg. To be told that the hotel 'does not do that' when other similar chains have no issue with you ordering with the 'buffet' breakfast. This is my only complaint

Breakfast was good. Fresh items. Room was pretty clean.

For breakfast couple of items included with other poultry items would have been better. But the 2nd bed (sofa bed) was not comfortable at all. I can feel the base while lying down.
