The hotel itself was clean, the room was first class this along with the staff. The receptionist on check in and also check out were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. We had our evening meal in the restaurant, food was really good, reasonably priced and good quality. The staff were all very good and happy to serve us, unlike some hotels we have used. Our room was spacious, very clean and of good quality fittings. Bed and bedding helped to give us a good night's sleep. At breakfast we were attended by George who was a very friendly and professional member of staff. Excellent service.

Due to temporary road works outside there was a bit more road noise, this will obviously disappear when the road works finish. This was not a major problem and would not put us off returning.

Clean property and great start

The room was very expensive and I expected a bigger bathroom for the price for one night.

Nice room, good restaurant and bar prices not as crazy as most hotels. Staff were mostly very friendly.

My husband surprised me for my birthday we stayed in crystal suite the room was absolutely stunning and the jacuzzi in the room was just the cherry on the cake . We had a meal in the restaurant it was stunning all members of staff were amazing could not have been anymore helpful . We will be back again some time .

Location was excellent for my needs and easy to get too.

Very convenient (to M74) location with a large Tesla Supercharger facility on site. Food was OK-to-good.

Hotel is very cheaply built - warping MDF architraves where they had gotten wet, bath filler broken, (dire) restaurant music was too loud to the point where I had to raise my voice in order for the waitress to hear my order, bedside lights didn't work, room too hot with no apparent temperature controller and I couldn't open a window as they built the hotel with the windows next to the main road instead of having the corridor between the road and the rooms and noisy traffic all night long...

We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago, and came back to it as a treat on our way travelling north after I had run a marathon. An it was an absolute treat to return! The hotel is beautiful. Our room was just great and so warm, as we were cold after travelling. Drinks in the bar before an outstanding dinner, and then a wonderful breakfast the next day. Staff were all super friendly.

The only downside is that it’s not dog friendly, so we can only go back when we’re not travelling with our dog. But maybe that makes it more of a treat?! But we would definitely go back, even without our dog.
