Great location . The pub itself and the garden are great.
Rooms a bit tired.
Location, comfortable bed and proximity to car park
The bedroom was pokey, poorly ventilated and in serious need of redecoration. The breakfast, meanwhile, was the worst we've ever experienced. There was a very limited selection of items to choose from and the emphasis seemed to be on minimizing the cost to the pub rather than providing fair value for money.Very disappointed.
Shabby, noisy, overpriced and sub standard. Very disappointed.
It was very shabby and definitely misrepresented. We stayed in room 10. The stairs up to our room were dirty and the carpet in our room was stained. The room was badly in need of repair and decoration. Under the bed needed hoovering. There was no shelf or hooks in the bathroom to put anything. The whole place felt unclean. We could only get one channel on tv and no WiFi. We were unaware that it was a sports bar and the courtyard directly underneath our room was very noisy and full of drunken louts. Breakfast was mediocre. When asked when we arrived what time breakfast would be, two staff members couldn’t even tell us.
Great location with a clean comfortable room and very friendly staff - Fantastic breakfast was the icing on the cake
*staff friendly and eager to help..thankyou*sink plug not allowing water to drain but was reported and someone was going to deal with it.*loose toilet roll holder and taps* inadequate lighting on stairwell to the point it was unsafe coming out of bedroom straight onto narrow landing with no lighting unless you remember to suddenly switch it on.The FIRE SAFETY ORDER states that fire exit routes be well lit and that emergency lighting be of adequate intensity in case of power failure. Emergency lighting should illuminate the route that leads to the nearest fire exit and the stairwell should provide at least 150 lux.You need to provide illumination during power outages or emergencies so that no guest is left stumbling in the any dark section on stairwells or floor level changes.
Great location, good facilities - room was perfect. Staff were great especially Dawn.
No faults
Staff were fantastic, especially Dawn at breakfast/house keeping. Very busy lady but didn’t get too flustered & was very attentive.Bed was comfortable, although pillows were very soft.Room 10 is a little bit tired, could do with a splash of paint here and there.
Pub was nice and the seðarate room was gaveveasy access tp the town. Lovely park round the corner.
Parking was not easy on the streets but as we arrived after parking restrictions had ended and we left before 0900 this wasn't a problem.
i liked the location and my bed
the breakfast is overpriced
Staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms have everything you need and it's well located for getting into and around Chichester.
Bed was really uncomfortable, could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was also bit of a let down, it might be the time we arrived but there were no hot offerings just sugary cereals and bananas.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. The pub is lovely too and the rooms being separate and out the back was a bonus.
The rooms are a little dated, but still very clean and comfortable.
Had a happy 4 nights here. Good value. Good choice at breakfast buffet. Special mention to Dawn who had a lovely manner - friendly and helpful.Wondered if the pub might be noisy - but no problem: it's separate anyway.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Affordable, comfortable room in a great location.
The room was very comfortable for a short stay. Bed & pillows ensured a good night sleep and very quiet. Evening Food in the hotel was excellent and washed down with a couple of good ales! Breakfast was buffet style but more than adequate!Service throughout my stay was very good.
bigger selection in the morning and bigger croissants!
Lovely staff
Breakfast for the price of the room was not great and the room was clean but very, very tired. Cracked tiles, dodgy floor boards, etc.
Great location- easy to walk to all city venues. Clean. Quiet at night.
Bathroom light wasn't working when we arrived. They sorted this out however.
Location, pub and room were fantastic. Staff were so lovely and helpful, would definitely recommend.
