Not so much didn't like but the bed is a sofa bed so you can use for chilling inside etc of you wantSo it's not as comfy as a regular bedThis wouldn't stop me returning!!!We are booked in again next week and can't wait to see our swan friends!!

This was an amazing stay will an expected surprise on arrival which was enjoyed on the decking as the sun set. Great communication, clean and super comfortable…will absolutely return! 5 ⭐️ stay, with some lovely morning visitors

Loved its location, peace and tranquility all around.Facilities were great, the place was clean and tidy. It had everything you needed for a short break.We enjoyed the experience of staying here, which is what it is….an experience. I would and probably will stay again. The host also text me early to say we were welcome to check in and also gave us a late check out which was really lovely of them.Thank you!

Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

We loved everything and can’t wait to return. The location is stunning and it’s wonderful watching the scenery change with the tide. Steph is a fantastic host and the ark was beautifully designed and equipped.

Just an amazing place to stay, especially if you like boats.Quirky, stylish and very clean.Facilities amazing, the continental breakfast supplied was lovely as was the bottle of pink prosecco!Out of the way and quiet, a perfect escape with lovely coastal walks close by.The owner was in contact with info and even gave us a late checkout without having asked! Very KindWe just loved it!

Great communication from Steph messages received with lots of information. Lovely location and both me and my partner enjoyed our time there. Breakfast included bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch.

Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay. It’s our 4th visit!! The ark has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. Sitting out on deck watching the birds, the tides and the sunrises and sunsets is so relaxing. Lovely food and drink at the huts just a few minutes walk away. Steph is so friendly and helpful too!! Can’t wait to go back!

Every little thing was thought about, even pencils. All the luxury things you needed were there. It was so quite, friendly marina, coffee on tap at the air stream cafe. A totally perfect weekend. .

Ino way to make fridge colder so it wasn't cold enough to keep the strawberries and yogurts fresh. The strawberries went mouldy unfortunately. And shower fell apart when I was using it I had to hold shower head. Small tweaks did not effect my stay.

I just want to say that this location was soooooo peaceful, very romantic and me and my fiance loved every bit of it!!! Stephanie was very very helpful and SUPER AMAZING!!! She was very informative and I LOVE HER and our STAY, everyone needs to experience this at least 100 times!! I went for the GOODWOOD Festival I surprised my partner with that and staying at this location on the dock it was soooooo beauitful we watch the sunrise and sunset I just loved every single bit of this stay and llocation and will come back!! Oh and also please when you go everyone needs to go to JJs. Thank Steph and me later:) I should have did a video this place all I can say is Im in love!!!!

There is nothing that I can say that I didnt like like about the place or the area it was PERFECT I PROMISE YOU THE PERFECT GETAWAY

A brilliant little cabin in a perfect marina well away from civilization. The surroundings are the main star of the show- it's incredibly quiet and beautiful- but the Samphire itself is certainly no letdown, a surprisingly roomy cabin with great lighting options and a very comfortable bed. As a lovely bonus touch, the host provided me with a bottle of wine, croissants, bread, yoghurt and fruits, among other things- they really went above and beyond!

There's very little I could say would improve the place, which is already at a very high standard. I did find myself wishing I had a chair or table as it got a little uncomfortable eating and writing on a counter, but that was a fair tradeoff for the free space available.

We loved the quiet and peaceful location. The tide was out the whole time so there was no water but it was still a lovely location. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock with the complimentary bottle of champagne. Perfect stay and wonderful breakfast!

Great location in Thornham Marina. Very peaceful and relaxing. Pod is very well appointed with a really comfortable bed and everything needed for breakfast. Checking in is straightforward and plenty of useful information is provided in an electronic format and also in the pod. 'The Huts' cafe in the marina is lovely for drinks and lunch.

The pontoons that the pod is on are on intertidal mudflats, which means that you are only 'floating' part of the time. The rest of the time you are surrounded by mud. This is not necessarily bad as we found we enjoyed the 'water' times all the more because of the contrast with the 'mud' times and the landscape is always changing with the weather, time of day and state of the tide, which is part of the fun, but it was a bit of a surprise at first.

What a fantastic find - so idyllic peaceful and beautiful. Cannot fault it at all. The views are stunning, the place so comfortable, cozy and well kitted out, with a kitchenette, mood lighting, air conditioning and surround sound.

Everything. Communication was friendly and clear, Ark was spotlessly clean, beautiful and unique location.Lovely welcome goodies saw us right for breakfast and more.The Ark is obviously small, but makes great use of what I assume are boat design techniques to save space. Excellent climate control was a bonus.

That I booked us in on days where high tide happened when we mostly weren't there or we were asleep. That said, we spent a lovely afternoon on the deck with the cosy blankets, enjoying the view when the water came in.

Beautiful views, high standard utilities and features within, including built in speakers around bed, LED lights and an amazingly catered vegan breakfast. Really went above and beyond to make sure everything was a great experience. Great value for money.

Wasn’t expecting angle of floor to be affected slightly by the tide being about but wasn’t an issue

Perfect setting; clean and welcoming property. Loved the extra touch of breakfast items and some bubbles! Great location for walks or just enjoying the view from the decking. The host was super and responded to all queries very quickly. Loved it! Second time back and will be here again later in the year.

Everything was great - no concerns whatsoever.

Absolutely loved our mini break in this beautiful part of the world. The pod was cozy, spotlessly clean with everything really well thought out. Loved all the little extras esp the bottle of bubbles, thank you. We were also offered early check-in and late checkout with allowed us to enjoy our surroundings for longer.

Nothing to dislike

The continental breakfast was great and also provided gluten free food as I have coeliac disease. Absolutely loved the location on the marina. There were so many places to visit. We enjoyed many beautiful walks and also had a mooch around Chichester.The cafe at the marina was great. Lovely staff.

We liked it all.

Beautiful remote experience with exceptional surroundings and views. Overnight stay with a difference. Everything needed contained in this little pod. WILL be revisiting
