About
Centrally located, a few minutes' walk from Chichester Festival Theater and the cathedral, this beautiful 18th-century building has a brasserie. Within Chichester's old city walls, this Grade II listed building still has many Georgian and Regency features, such as its fine staircase and full-height sash windows. Some rooms at Chichester Harbor Hotel have beautiful Georgian features and overlook North Street, while others look out to Priory Park or over the city's rooftops towards the cathedral. Free wireless internet access is available in public areas. Relaxed and informal, Chichester Harbor Hotel's brasserie offers classic meals and char-grilled meat and fish dishes, all made using great locally sourced produce.

Pros +
- I loved the historical of the building. Loved the decor in the room and added touches such as the Gin and the Bathrobe. The coffee machine was also brilliant. However, it did leak water from the machine.
- Rooms are small but super cozy, the beds are comfortable, the location is amazing, staff is friendly. Second time staying in the hotel and I really enjoyed it. The complimentary gin in the room is great too ?
- Location is great and close to variety of things to be done at Chichester
Cons -
- The lift was dated so I opted to use the stairs.
- The rooms are super small, expensive, and the smell of sewers are very bad
- Spa and pool were out of use.Very hot small room.Smallest room we’ve ever stayed in (22), the bed takes up whole room . Had to open the case on the bed as no room to open the case stand. The sash window only opens four inches, the room is very hot , you couldn’t stay here in the summer.Windows steam up straight away as no air on the room.Very claustrophobic in the room, so hot.The bathroom is tiny, shower is step into the bath , dangerous , can’t move in there. Nowhere to put anything.Wifi is hopeless.

We loved the room, spotless large and bed was very comfy bathroom was also very good. Breakfast was also very good, we had dinner the night before and this was lovely, staff very very helpful.
Inside was fabulous but the outside area was not good at all and is the only thing that lets this lovely place down. I smoke and yes it is a filthy habit, but the smoking shelter was an absolute disgrace, the bin on the wall was absolutely overflowing and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months.
Good location.Very good breakfast.Helpful, friendly staff.
Little bit pricey.Like many hotels we've stayed in,there were no coat hooks anywhere in the bedroom.
Good location
Spa was closed , noise from room above squeaky floor boards etc. plug in bath was broken , did not shut properly so impossible to bath.
The cottage was very comfortable, the 'free toiletries' advertised were more basic than I anticipated, although they were nice. Staff were always friendly, courteous, happy to help, with a can do attitude and we really appreciated it.Alice, the therapist was exceptional and we both enjoyed the treatments as well as taking advantage of the well stocked gym.
Pool remaining closed for quite a long time with no end date in sight.
Breakfast and dinner was good. room very clean and tidy.
The bar shut too early.
Unfortunately, there were far too many stairs.
The room had a low beam. Although there was a sign I still hit my head a few times. The bed was too high.
Great comfortable stay in central Chichester, attentive staff and good selection for breakfast.
Location very good. Food good. Wine very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very expensive for average double. Had to carry cases up several flights of stairs as lift didn’t go to all levels. Some help would have been appreciated but not offered.
We liked the room, the location and the fact there is a car park.We didn't eat there as we thought the breakfast a bit expensive at £18pp and we didn't fancy the dinner menu and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, such as Ask Italian, Zizzi, Ivy, a Blanc Brasserie a Picolinos, a Greek place plus others and a smattering of pubs.
The staff were very nice and helpful.
Shower over bath. Cubicle with seat preferable much safer for the older person.
Excellent helpful staff; good breakfast although coffee too strong.
Dirty washbasin and loo brush spoilt things. Bath gradually emptied itself during my bath - leaky plug? Daft plug design in fact
It was cozy quiet area beautiful slept very well
Location great , room was well furnished comfortable and very clean . Appreciated the free gin in room . It was the public areas including reception that felt rather tired and in need of facelift . Not standard expected of a Harbour hotel .
Public areas a bit down at heel and in need of modernising and facelift. Reception area very underwhelming and initial welcome again not very good .
An overnight stay as mother & daughter , we were disappointed that since booking the pool was decommissioned. Additionally that a continental breakfast was the offer via booking.com but not made clear. Both issues were resolved to our satisfaction . The location & parking availability is excellent but the price for 2 for one night is high in comparison to other local hotels . The spa treatments were amazing and the spa staff during our stay were exceptional.
Beautiful building in a great location. The staff were all really friendly.
The bathroom was very small. The corridor to our room was in darkness at night and couldn’t find the light switch.
Good location, room excellent, parking good, staff friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect was the evening meal in the restaurant - good soup, but otherwise very disappointing - tasteless I'm afraid.
