    Pros +

    • The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful
    • Very welcoming the host could not do enough for you nothing was too much trouble.
    • The room next to my bedroom was being refurbished impossible to stay due to loud noise i demanded a refund and booked a taxi and left.i dont think the owner understood the importance of sleep

    Cons -

    • Very in need of updating - marks on the walls, old run down flooring and furniture, old heaters etc.
    • Noise level from other guests was a little bit of a problem, but soon got back to sleep.
    • Everything. They banged on my door at 3am while I was asleep in bed, accusing me of smoking in the room. I let them in to check, as of course I’d not been smoking in the room. They soon realised their mistake but by that point it was 3am, they had woken me up and I was absolutely fuming!! Ended up having to find somewhere to sleep in my car. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Also said they was happy to do a later checkout until I’d paid for the room and then told me 11am is latest checkout and they can’t do anything to change it. Migrant hotel vibes also. What an absolutely horrible nights “stay” book the travel lodge down the road from here. You’ll regret staying here.

My stay here was brilliant, the room and hotel was very clean and staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend their pizza. We had to be up earlier than when breakfast would be served, and Pav one of the staff members offered to wake up earlier and have breakfast ready for us, which was really lovely and much appreciated. The coffee was also perfect. Would highly recommend this place.

Clean rooms friendly staff great value breakfast

    8HelenPosted on: 2-3-2026

The staff were lovely and the accommodation and food were very good.

It was more basic than I expected but was value for money for the price.

    7RalphPosted on: 2-2-2026

The breakfast was generous and served quickly. It was reasonable value,as it included breakfast. The bed was comfortable, even though it was a bit too soft.

The hotel is situated on the A5 trunk road, so expect traffic noise. There were minor issues ,such as the robe hook on the bathroom door and the towel ring both fell off, which I forgot to mention to the staff when leaving.

I never liked anything about this property

The room was very dirty, the bed had stains on, the bathrooms was mouldy, the towels had bleach on everything was just disgusting was very unhappy about this. Me and my friend tried to claim a refund and they would not get back in touch with us

The hotel is well decorated and tastefull, the owners are great, coul;dnt be more helpfull. The room was spacious and good value for the money. The breakfast was top notch. My only criticism was the weather was bad and it made a big puddle in the car park.

The car park needs some work done.

Environment around the property was peaceful. During my stay I had really great interactions with the staff, they were really helpful and welcoming. The food is really good here, multiple options to choose. The hotel ambience is good and rooms are exceptional. They are clean and tidy. If anyone looking for a hotel in budget could be a short or long stay, but don’t want to compromise in terms of necessities, then this hotel is the best pick.

There’s nothing much that I didn’t like about the property. As they are still developing, scaling up their hotel. Hope they maintain same standards as of now.

I really liked my stay at this hotel. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, with tasty food prepared by a good chef. The staff provided a warm and friendly welcome.

    Avoid disappointing stay.

No eggs available for breakfast and what we did get was cold and deep fried Needs more staff and a cook.Got locked out of room on all 3 nights.Room was cold no carpets and very noisy .

    5AnthonyPosted on: 12-16-2025

Breakfast still good, and location was perfect for my needs.

We stayed here a few weeks ago so it was a no brainer going back. However, this was a different room and these days I don't expect a ceiling light to be a bare bulb!I also don't expect to listen to either a drunken or drugged up woman shouting profanities at full volume at 10:30 to be allowed to continue for an hour without either being told to moderate their behaviour or leave.

    10FaithPosted on: 12-6-2025

Great Location, staff extremely friendly and very clean

    No heating in the bathroom

    1SuePosted on: 12-5-2025

    Didn’t stay

I never stayed as I was accosted by a man in the car park who was moaning about the place and then told me he had been put up there by the council as he was homeless as I was travelling on my own this made me feel uncomfortable then at reception there where 2 Indian men who where just staring at me which again made me uncomfortable when going to me room which was a long way from any where I noticed the wires leading to the cctv where not connected again I felt uncomfortable so I left and booked a different hotel. I am not sure if this hotel has been taken over by new owners but it seemed a bit strange

    4PavanPosted on: 12-5-2025

The staff let me check in 30 mins early

The bathroom was so cold, the shower didn’t work properly. The room also took ages to heat up. The little lights next to bed didn’t work. The shower was covered in mould. I think it was definitely overpriced
