Rooms need update plus not cleaned one day

Very friendly staff. The room was nice and warm and comfy. We had food in the restaurant which was great. Over all a nice stay.

Had to leave very early in the morning had a little trouble getting out but nothing major

The staff were absolutely the highlight of the trip, friendly, accommodating and just eager to please.

I'd a couple of issues with room keys, my shower was blocked but otherwise it was fine

Beds and towels were clean

This hotel has obviously passed its best. Shabby decoration and the cleaning wasn't great - dusty floor in bathroom . Mould in shower etc. The staff were nice.

Very smelly bathroom, strong sewerage smell. Lots of road noise.Very creaky floors, lots of noise from the corridors and surrounding roomsOut of date milk and no teaspoons in the roomI definitely would not stay here again.

I stayed here during a canal walk - it's just a short walk to the Stratford Canal from the hotel. It was a very comfortable and quiet stay at a reasonable price. I didn't have dinner but the breakfast was very good. Everyone was friendly.

The pillows were too flat and uncomfortable, we had 3 between us so could have done with another one

It was close to my clinic I had my op at , the duvet was good and warm

The tap was dripping in the sink all night, the curtains fell down when we opened them, the room above people were walking about all night kept me awake bad creaking floorboards, only two small milks so we only got one coffee each .

Helpful receptionist.Useful location.

Minimalist room.Please at least give me a chair ( not stool ) and a proper size desk to sit at !

The location was convenient.

Only one of the lights in the room worked, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The Iron was also terrible and had marks on it.

Management are always friendly and a friendly check in.Food is fresh and decent value.

Beds aren't the most comfortable I've stayed in.But for 1 night with a decent pub area to spend an evening in, decent food and good value, I'll compromise for 1 night.

It had a pub attached with good Indian, Chinese, Italian and English food. Staff couldn't do enough. We had a group of 15 adults and 2 kids and they shifted furniture to fit us in the bar on a Saturday night - all with a smile.

Pillows to flat and not very soft. No mattress protector. Only one teabag and no spoons. Very noisy place

Hotel is a little tired and there was the usual doors banging from very early on in the morning, no sound proofing

Had to wait and look up for the staff to check-in. Iron that we asked didn't work properly.

Generally, the room was tired. Bathroom glass shelf loose and nearly fell in the sink. The hot tap kept dripping. Shower area had seen better days. Toilet seat cheap. The hotel generally needs a face lift.

It was great to find a place with 3 single beds so 3 single ladies could attend an event at BP Live and not have to co share.

The condition was awful! One bed was rock hard, one bed basically had no corner of springs in and the other had a spring in the back. When considering flipping the mattress over the condition of the bed, stains etc I’ll leave to your own imagination! The smell of urine coming from the bar toilets connected to where you eat is enough to put anyone off your food although the food was very nice. The price for 3 drinks was also over £30 which is an absolute rip off!
