Staff were friendly and hotel was clean breakfast was nice
All good
We pre-ordered breakfast on day we arrived for Sunday. But unfortunately it was not prepared by the time we were checking out.
We didn't find a receptionist, we had to wait for almost 10 minutes when he turned up, the room was dirty, the blocked drain in the bathroom and toilet very untidy. The curtains seems to have outlined their lifespan. The television is outdated. Overall no ambience in the room we were accommodated.
Nice room, very friendly staff, has carpark.
Location
Only heated by electric heater which wasn’t on. Had radiators and Aircon neither worked
Location was ideal.
The room was very cold and a little tired in decoration.
Staff friendly, location good, water was hot.
The room was dirty, the sink was blocked, the kettle didn’t work, the cupboard door had fallen off bedside cabinet before we even arrived. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the chair was filthy. Breakfast was very disappointing.
We had a meal in the Malaysian restaurant Raffles on saturday night which was excellent.Breakfast was also good.
Rooms were clean but very dated. Bath in poor condition. In need of renovation. Damp issues in certain areas of the building. If I was travelling to Kenilworth again would probably look elsewhere to stay
The food was good . The staff were very pleasant. It was in a good location.
The room number 001 . Not part of the main building, it being a room past the toilets, with no proper window what you could look out of . Dirty I would go as far to say filthy . Not what was on the site I would never have booked it showing the room that they gave us . I went to the shop and purchased some disinfectant and wipes so as to clean most things . It had a smell of urine in the corner next to the wardrobe . Filthy everywhere . The bathroom was discussing mold everywhere the toilet had never seen bleach had scale. Then there was the mouse excrement in the bathroom . The best one was in the morning I woke and found it in the bed as well . I'm surprised it being available on booking.com. someone needs to go an checkout this place . I would say to people stay away from this place if this is what to offer . We could not wait to leave in the morning . We have stayed in many places but never experienced anything like this . I was going to complain in the morning but the fella who was on on the afternoon we arrived was not there . Do not book this place . Maybe the main part of the building may be a different matter but these rooms at the back are discussing
Nothing exceptLocation
I do t think it should be advertised as it seems to be a halfway house as residents thought we were social workers and the rooms smelt of canabis from the people resident there smoking outside the building
Its location was fantastic . It offered restaurant and bar service if required . Staff seemed very friendly.
The room was not very clean . The carpet was sticky it was that dirty . Behind the hospitality tray ( I'd dropped some cream behind, so I had to move the cupboard )was full of baby rubbish such a plastic dummy and baby bottle lid from previous guests. Walls were stained with tea/ pop and smelled of cigarette smoke . Curtains were off the track, and the shower door was also off its runners. The radiator was hanging on by a raw plug, and the light bulbs on the ceiling flickered. The room was not quiet, and for two nights, the guest in the next room laughed loudly all night and talked very, very loudly .sleep was disturbed and interrupted by her. So rooms are not soundproofed. We also think the room may have been a staff room ? Little things like nowhere for your toiletries in the shower to be put . No mirror close to a socket . The decor wasn't too bad, and the beds bedding and towels were clean and comfortable. It's little things and the cleanliness of the rest of the room that let this stay down . We know they aren't responsible for guests and noise, but if it was for staff, they need to sound proof rooms and discourage smoking outside in the courtyard cigarettes, buts were everywhere. We were put in a family room a nice gesture, but it would have been very difficult in that room with a child and the dirty carpet, etc .
Location, right on the high street. Very good restaurants, comfortable and clean, good free car park.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, cosy family run business. Good value for money during the quiet Christmas period, the family room was large and had more than enough space for us all. We all got upgraded to larger rooms at no extra cost which was nice.
The prices at the Malaysian restaurant were a bit steep and the portion size small for the price. No smart TV in the family room, which when staying with kids would have been helpful.
Bedroom was a good size and had a bath with shower over. Linen lovely and clean as usual and smells lovely and fresh. Staff friendly and courteous - bedroom clean and tidy. Room nice and quiet as usual and there was parking available. I will return.
Bathroom could do with a little freshen up with tile grouting and new bath - saying that everything worked fine. Unfortunately neighbouring person was smoking so fire alarm kept being set off - sadly but not hotel fault. As usual I will return.
Great location , free parking, helpful friendly staff, good restaurants. Clean room, complimentary bottles of water each day.
Furniture a bit tired. I would have liked a mini fridge.
the room was good the staff were very pleasant had a evening meal in your resturant very nice the food waswell presented would come again as it is handy for visiting my family in leamington spa
a bit more choice of english food menu
Location near town centre.Easy car parking.Breakfast available but expensive.
Breakfast expensive as an additional extra.Room cold.Lots of steep stairs to climb to the room.
The staff was nice but it was so bad that I stayed for 3 hours then left
It was dirty they said my room was ready and I walked in and it hadn’t been checked since the last person was in it hairs on the bed mold up the wall absolutely ridiculous
