Well appointed comfortable clean warm room. Excellent value.

The Black Hat exceeded my expectations! The room was updated and very comfortable, the host was so helpful with getting our bags up the stairs to our rooms. For a one night stay it was perfect.

Central location, clean and very quiet, well appointed rooms. Super comfortable bed!Staff were great - friendly, efficient, helpful!Tony, Jonell, Emily and the other staff could not have been better!

Lovely large room, with everything you would need for an overnight stay! Very dog friendly with bed, bowl & welcome pack!

It is on a busy road, but the double glazing does buffer the noise.

The reception. After a long drive we were “greeted” by a rude duty manager called Dani who didn’t bother to say hello or welcome but just said name, fill in this form and here’s your key. Not a great start

Large comfortable room, super clean bathroom. Friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure you had everything you wanted. Excellent evening menu and breakfast.

We live in a village so found that being on a busy road that the traffic noise from very early morning disturbed us. but to be fair thats not the Black Hats doing.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here at The Black Hat. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and the room was as expected. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. My favorite was the full English breakfast in the mornings. Grabbing a pint in the evening on the patio out back was also a highlight. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Yorkshire!

The pub closed a little early, but the same goes for essentially every place in Ilkley.

I liked everything about the property: the landlord, the food, the room, the location. It is a well run place. Very professional. Really, the top of my list.

Everything was brilliant. We had a lovely clean big room with a very nice bathroom. Wi-Fi was good, tv, tea making facilities, including biscuits, coffee machine, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. We were worried about it being noisy but it was quiet and very comfortable.Bar facilities were also good with very reasonably priced drinks with real ale on offer. Breakfast was cooked to order and the host was happy to accommodate specific requests. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Pleasant room slap bang in the centre of town. Free parking on site. Popular pub with outside seating and several sheds too .A dog friendly venue and accommodation.

It's entirely my fault, but I didn't notice until way into sniffing and wheezing throughout the night, they have quite smart down-filled pillows.

Very helpful and friendly manager. Spotlessly clean. Easy walk from train station.

The room we had (Boycott) was excellent with plenty of space and all the facilities you would expect. Also had a bath which you dont get often nowadays.

We managed to get free parking in some private parking at the rear of the hotel but free parking is limited. Would like to have had boiling water for tea at breakfast rather than hot.

Full choice of breakfast, coffee machine and teas in room as well
