central location close to station and free parking room was fine

Lack of hangars in room 2. There was only 1 wire hangar. Saw cleaning staff next morning and she said it would be rectified.

The staff are so friendly. The room and the bed. The bed is very comfortable.

Nothing would stay here again

Authentic, clean rooms, good TV, Coffee tea facilities.

Could have done with bottles of water for the room. Also the gate at the back after hours was difficult to open.

On the corner of busy roads and above the pub so quite noisy. Bed felt comfortable but I didn’t sleep well for 2 nights. Breakfast wasn’t served until 10am.

It was available mat last minute when other plans fell apart. The little town is very nice. The one person who seemed the only person working was very nice and carried my bag to my room. But management clearly was absent and there were issues.

The kitchen was closed at 7 pm and the one worker to check me in was making pizzas so couldn’t check me in. Then computers didn’t work and my payment didn’t show up when he finally was able to check me in to my room. Then I was charged a few days later as a no show because when I left early the next morning there was no one to check my payment and the only staff around said “computers down”. We had ordered aPizza for dinner as that’s all the food on offer and about 15 min later then one mancame to tell us our toppings were not available. Service very slow. As if entire operation was one man doing everything and he tried hard but couldn’t do it all…make them pizzas and check in the hotel guests.

The room was very clean and probably the biggest bed we've had. A good touch was the 3 seat sofa in the room. We had a bath with a very powerful shower over, run off the main water and not a electric one. Curtains and blinds stopped the light coming in. Great evening food didn't need to eat outside of here.

Bath towels not designed for us more cuddly people. More space for clothes. Not the bet soundproofing in the world.

Was nice and clean , good privacy and good location. They also looked after my bag the next day with no issues!

Unfortunately we did not know until we arrived there was a disco until 12.00pm

Room lovely, kitchen disorganised.

We ate in the evening and the service was chaotic. Some food was unavailable and the starters only arrived after 45 minutes. They also arrived at the same time as the main course!

Nice centrally located rooms in the heart of Glossop. Ideal for discovering the nearby hiking paths of the Peak District. Verz comfy beds. Lively pub with a DJ on Saturday evening.

Well-presented, clean rooms with a comfy bed, very good for ‘room over a pub’ accommodation. Ideal as we were visiting friends in the area.

Nothing stands out. We were out late ourselves and although we were aware of the bar downstairs being lively it wasn’t especially noisy upstairs and finished at a reasonable time.

The location was good for us visiting family

Noisy, nowhere to park only the train station and we got a hole in the tyre. No duvet cover on the duvet . No lift.

Lovely warm room on a cold winter's night. The staff were very nice and the cooked breakfast in the comfortable dining room was a treat.

Location

This is a busy pub. The rooms are directly above the bar. The noise through the floor into the room spoilt the rest of the stay. (Disco until midnight)We won't stay again.

Some noise from the bar late into the night. A little overpriced at £115 for a double room only.
