Loved it. Simple as. Check in about 4pm to be greatest by the owners whom are just so sweet and kind! Friendly banter and questions making you feel important and cared for so you're not so much a customer but a friend. I'd booked a single room for one night (August last year I believe) for my cousins wedding beautiful room and that's what I was anticipating however I'd come to find out I'd been bumped up in the time that passed only making me feel more comfortable and important when I'd arrived only to be bumped up once again just beautiful I have a nice smile and seemed friendly. They are unbelievably kind and helpful. The husband even carried my suitcase up to my room (didn't know hotels and that still did that) and explained everything. Highly recommend. It was a beautiful experience. The room I'd stayed in ended up being a four-poster bed in a beautiful pink top and covers with a plush sofa at the foot of the bed (also pink!) with two bedside tables. The room had a beautiful wall high wardrobe covered in a mirror with plenty of space inside and extra draws. There was a desk in the right corner of the room with a pink plush seat and a TV on top with another big mirror behind along with a hairdryer on the wall. Two windows one out looking at the carpark the other out looking the street. Just beautiful. With pink hanging curtains that really tied the room together and along with a standing fan for those warm nights to be topped off with a chandelier light on the ceiling that made it feel luxurious and homey. I walked in to feel like I'd belonged. It was instant comfort and peace. The bathroom was decent sized with ofc a toilet and sink with a cute mirror and little shelf under said mirror for some soaps with two holders at each ends I believe for a glass to fill with water to either swill your mouth out with after brushing your teeth or to clean the sink off when you spit. The bathroom I was given had a bathtub. A bathtub.

Pleasant traditional hotel, clean, good location. Friendly staff
Location is excellent, staff on arrival were great, chef/barman was great and housekeeping staff were lovely. Room was clean, very hot on arrival so we turned the radiator off, and it was fine.
Shower wasn't great, but did the job.
It was a very warm room four poster bed very comfortable don't expect it to be perfect has it has got history an old building, not far from a great Indian and nice pubs.
No shower just bath, lock on room door not good.
facilties were as described close to town
Breakfast went cold quite quickly from serving to table.
Room comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was lovely served by very pleasant gentleman. Nothing too much trouble.
Hotel cold and rooms. Stayed there before many times and first time experienced this. Lacked normal ambiance and atmosphere.
Great location
Dusty, bathroom seemed unfinished, loose toilet and low ceiling above bath.
A lot of negatives on this occasion, following lots of positive stays.
We have stayed many a weekend here at Parlors Hall Hotel. In the last 6 months we have seen the price increase by 50%. We used to get a very warm welcome each and every time we stayed. However, on this occasion we were told on arriving that we'd have to attract the member of staff that she thought was in the bar. In the bar on a stool sitting doing nothing, might I add. He came to reception, asked our name, handed us our key, said what room we were in and told us the time of breakfast. No politeness or... hope you have a great stay. The gentleman that was in the breakfast room was cold and face may have cracked if he broke a smile. The only thing now brought to the table is tea, if required. If you want coffee, it's help yourself. No offer of any other type of egg, other than scrambled. Gorgeous thick sausages altered to thin. Service seems to have taken a lot of steps backwards although prices have drastically increased. Kettle didn't work.
Breakfast was excellent good quality foods
Room was a little hot but better than being cold
Very friendly reception staff. Comfy bed. Adequate bathroom.
Old Hotel, could do with a spruce up. Door lock was worn out, hard to work and not reliable. Heating was way too high. Carpark too small. Breakfast was disappointing, poor service and disorganised in a scruffy unappealing room.
Comfy beds. Nice bar. Good breakfast.
Car parking nightmare. Very small with limited spaces. I had to park on the road for one night.
Warm and comfortable hotel and excellent value for money as breakfast was included in the price.
Parking first come first serve.
