The Stroud Hotel

The hotel itself is one of the best parts of Stroud. Location is perfect, opposite the train station. There is a small car park to the front where I managed to get a parking spot easily, considering it was a Saturday. We ate in the bar area whilst watching the rugby. Food was amazing. The staff were also brilliant. Decor is on point.

Vert nice olde worlde hotel in a great location right by the railway station.Lovely room.Excellent staff.

Conveniently close to station

No staff at reception. My room was up 2 steep flights of stairs and at the end of a corridor. The room was cold. No instructions for the TV nor coffee maker so I was unable to use them. No internal phone so couldn't face the two flights of stairs and probably no-one on reception to remedy this. It felt as if this was a bar/restaurant with rooms and no effort to look after hotel guests.

No Lift hard to get the luggage to the top floor at 82 lots of stairs

The Facility is an older one, but excellently maintained! Bed was good, updated bathroom and room! Service was excellent along with a very nice restaurant and pub downstairs with excellent food options and food! Location great for travelers and tge Value was amazing!

No lift and I had 3 bags!

The staff were very helpful. I thought the interior decor is good. I enjoyed the breakfast.

Comfortable room, very friendly staff, excellent food and perfectly located to explore the Stroud area.

The parking is a bit limited, but when you know that you can make other arrangements.

No lift

Beautiful property, lovely bar and restaurant area, spacious bedroom. The staff were all really accommodating and the food delicious!

There was a fire alarm at 0500. It took ages to get information - it proved to be a false alarm. The incredibly loud alarm continued for at least 15 minutes. Afterwards there was a lot of movement outside.. We had a very poor nights sleep
