A nice room in a converted terraced house, 20 metres from the hotel. The sea front is very close.

It's on the first floor so there are quite a few steps and no lift

Checked in at the dovedale hotel reception.Dolphin rooms location is great and easy to get to everything you need within a minute...coffeeshops, bus stop, beach!

Just bit of noise from a nearby restaurant emptying the glass bottle bin.

Rooms clean and tidy, staff very friendly, breakfast really good value for money. Defo be back

Within 24 hours of booking my stay, my work schedule unexpectedly changed and I no longer required the room. I contacted the General Manager (the son of the owner) to ask whether at least a partial refund might be possible.In line with the company’s policy, he declined. He was entitled to do so, but two things stood out to me:1. The interaction felt curt and dismissive, with little empathy or willingness to help.2. Given that this is a family-run business, I was surprised there was no attempt to offer any goodwill gesture or flexibility, especially since the booking had been made less than 24 hours earlier and the hotel was at no real disadvantage in re-letting the room.I can’t comment on the quality of the accommodation itself, but if my experience of the customer service is representative, I’d advise others to stay elsewhere.

Stayed here before. Staff are great, rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is good and location is excellent.

We were booked in to the dolphin rooms but when we booked in we were advised we were in the main part of the hotel with no explanation?The rooms we had were OK, a bit dated and needed a bit of TLC. When we booked the dolphin rooms this property looked more modern and more appealing but we did not get the chance to find out!Room 103, window latch is broken and it was a cold night.Room 102, lovely 4 poster bed but needed a good dusting, cob-web city!

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Rooms. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The room was very comfortable, the bed ensured a restful night’s sleep, Its convenient location made it easy to explore Cleethorpes. Overall, a pleasant stay — we would not hesitate to return.

The room was lovley, and so close to everything g we needed, staff were so friendly and kind and even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs which was a huge help

Room 207 was boiling hot like a furnaceNo toiletries like stated on booking .comTiny bit of hand soap in dispenser and tiny bit of shower gelWe went out and bought someApparently rooms are soundproof..I don't think soThe shower round seals and door were a bit grubby too.we also didn't like 2 flights of steep stairs with bags and suitcasesNo good for an older personBut appreciate it's out of there controlPity there wasn't a lift

The weekend staff was absolutely lovely week day not as friendly breakfast was lovely

The room was very small for me and my child dints in the floor rust in the bathroom sink taps falling apart rusty shower looked very old fitting shower bathroom was clean ish but hard water build up in the shower and the bed and pillows well the bed was and felt like a old hard mattress very bumpy feeling pillows felt like bricks they was rock hard not worth all that money for 2 days at all i was under the impression we was getting a nice room from the pictures but that wasn’t nice especially with the rust in the sink taps falling apart and the bed not what we expected considering that was our summer holiday I did not sleep good at all so i am disappointed

The room was lovely & comfortable bed. Breakfast was great staff were very friendly. We had a lovely stay very central to beach & centre of Cleethorpes Second time we have stayed cant beet it will be back
