Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa

I was pleased with the toiletries. Also, my husband and I enjoyed the quiet bar/lounge area where we relaxed over a light snack.

SECURITY! our daughter discovered that her purse, in her LOCKED room, was missing a great deal of money. There was no forced entry into the room. A real mystery - how could this happen? The incident took place during her wedding dinner at the resort. SAD!

The grounds were nice and the restaurant was good. The beds were comfortable.

For the price, the room was nice but quite tired, with some peeling wall paper in the bathroom. We had to pay an additional £40 to use the spa facilities and although these were quite nice, the pool was smaller than the pictures showed and there was nowhere to relax around the pool.

The staff are very helpful.Parking is good.The rooms have not changed much since my last visit in 2014.

The restaurant needs a different menu and fix the aircon.It was warmer outside.

Stunning eutopia

The spa was cold, water air & hot tub. So couldnt enjoy it. I let staff know & they refunded to extra I’d paid for it.

The spa was amazing the bed was extremely comfy and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Beautiful decor

I asked for a bath and nothing was mentioned . We got a shower! My brother had booked a room at the same time and had a bath even though he didn’t request one. Also I had booked a massage and was not given a tube in the room but my brother who hadn’t booked a treatment had robes. Poor service!! No friendly or personal service

The property itself was in a really good location

My partner and I had to leave at 8pm to stay in a Premier Inn because the room we were given was extremely unclean.Upon arrival, we noticed that the window sill was dirty and covered in dead insects, and the wardrobe door handle was hanging off. We reported these issues, and while they were fixed when we went out for food, the overall cleanliness was still unacceptable.Later, we decided to use the spa facilities before bed, but this was also disappointing. The area was very small and outdated, the water appeared dirty while we were sitting in it, and we were unable to use the jacuzzi as it was occupied for a long period.After a disappointing experience in the spa, we returned to our room to shower and get ready for bed, only to find splatter marks and dried contact lenses on the bedside table, no bin for any rubbish and generally still unclean after staff going in there. At that point, we decided we’d had enough and chose to leave.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It needs a full update and refurbish.

Beautiful building and spa

We entered the hotel room using a house key. Both my wallet and my wife’s were stolen. If the hotel used card entry, it might have been a different story.

Horrific

The fact we had to swap rooms at half past 11 at night because we had nests of ladybugs in our room then we got moved again to find more in the second room was a very distressing stay.

Lovely building, countryside location and great Spa

The rooms were in need of some TLC, radiator not working so had an electric heater. Shower head needed a good clean. Expensive food and drink, £24 for 2 small glasses of Prosecco at the pool

The staff were very helpful and attentive . The rooms and hotel was very clean . The spa was fantastic .

Gym equipment was a bit dated, but all worked ok

I loved it all maybe the bar area could have been more cosy.

I took my daughter for her birthday. we could not fault anything from start to finish.Beautiful room, comfortable beds Champagne waiting for us. The greetiing at reception was exceptional. I also enjoyed the relative ease of travel from London to Rowhill. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam amenities were great as well.

My room location wasn’t the best. I will endeavour to book directly next time as I would have loved to encounter the scenic views of the grounds.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was a bit larger than expected.

The spa needs refurbishing. The lighting in the pool area was much too dark and needs a complete rethink. Far too much water on the areas where you are walking making it extra slippery and unsafe.
