Holiday Inn Express London - Dartford By IHG

The breakfast was OK but a lot of items had to be refilled and so there was a wait because guests overloading their plates.

The condition of the room needed refurbishment. The entrance was full of rubbish and people smoking then putting their remains on the floor didn't make a good first impression.

Location. Had issue with air con in room, it was rectified and we were moved immediately

Paying for parking, considering we were guests .Also, in the second room, the lights were flickering so you couldn't have just the small beside the bed lights on.

Overall enjoyed our stay

Room, bathroom shower, staff, food etc

The room was good value for money, clean, the shower was large and well maintained. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful.

The parking charges. This is not a location that needs to prevent unwanted parking so it felt like it was just to make additional money.

The staffs and the foods.

Pieces of cigarettes at the entrance, needs to be swept daily to keep the entrance to the reception clean and tidy.

Plenty of parking. Well laid out dining area. Good well appointed bedroom.

Breakfast is always fine

Having stay d here on several occasions it has always been good until last week when the member of staff on check in was less than helpful I was charged twice for my stay which one charge was eventually paid back to me and the cleanliness of the bathroom was lawful even after mentioning it it was not rectified or was I moved. Today I overheard the two colleagues on reception speaking about me as soon as I left the check in desk which I was both shocked about and annoyed being that I stay every week

Check in girl Jodie was a ray of sunshine after a long day who helped even with sorting the parking top marks

Bed was hard but hey ho each to there own

Staff and location

The rooms are cold . I met many other customers all saying the same thing that the heating doesn’t work . They also bring you heaters if you call them so they k ow they don’t work .

Plenty of parking, good size room and clean. Breakfast was good. Really nice staff

Pillows were too hard for me even though they have a softer option

It’s spacious and clean it’s also modern.The shower was amazing and I liked the size of room we were given was also fantastic.Whilst there I’d like to point out that you have an amazing staff member that couldn’t do enough for us her name was Kieran she’s a credit to travel lodge.

Although the breakfast spread is amazing I don’t like how they cramp you all up in one space when there was plenty of tables around that they could seat you.I also don’t like how there was a lot of staff that stood in front of the breakfast tables watching you. Me and my husband felt uncomfortable by this as it wasn’t necessary.

Your 2 reception staff Susan and Karen were so amazing and friendly- we had a great chat with them and when we came back still on duty - asked how our night was - so nice

Breakfast a bit hotter

Comfortable beds and good shower pressure. Nice room lighting. Breakfast was pretty good for a chain hotel. Staff were friendly and the phone for the local cab company was useful. Evening food was pretty good too

Quite tired inside and the shower was pretty worn in places, but still clean

Lovely staff, comfortable 3 nights stay, great unlimited breakfast, good value for money can't find any faults at all!!

Noise from the motorway

Reception staff great. We were a late arrival, had specific room requirements tgat had not come through from booking.com and they still accommodated.

The staff were friendly and helpful with parking permit. Lovely to be able to get a drink from the bar and relax in the room with it after a long journey.

The room was noisy from surrounding guests. Some items, like tea spoons, were not available and needed to be requested. These were quickly replaced once brought to staff’s attention.

A spacious, clean, bedroom with plenty of toiletries and fluffy towels. The bar/dining area was pleasant and the included breakfast plentiful and tasty.

Unfortunately due to the hotel being so close to the Dartford Tunnel, the traffic was horrendous when I arrived. I would advise any visitors to avoid the rush hour!
