Terrible. I did not sleep...

The bed was too short. I am only 5f5 and my feet were touching the end of the bed.The bed was very uncomfortable and not of hotel quality. More like a build your own from Argos. The award winning restaurant was under refurbishment but according to locals it has been closed for many years. The hotel has no bar and the two eateries next door do not sell alcohole either We could not have breakfast in the morning as the kitchen was closed (on Monday morning). We had to travel a good distance to find a pub, however they had stopped serving food at 4pm. Therefore, we did not manage to find any where to eat our evening meal. The hotel does not offer a vending machine or snacks/drinks to purchase. We paid for rent of a bed really and even that was so uncomfortable I didnt sleep and had a bad back the following day.

Location suited us for our needs and offered free parking. Price was good.

Couldn't book a ground floor room even though I was travelling with my 80 year old mother. Bathroom sink had no plug and we had to ask for one. Bathroom shelf was missing so no where to put toiletries. Toilet bowl had bad stains. Towels had threads on and one had a hole in it. Bad mark on carpet. Holes in wall that needed filling in. No window, other than the velux loft skylight, so we had no view and the blind on this window was broken. We could feel the mattress 'tufts' through the sheets.

It was clean.

Couldn’t get breakfast, couldn’t even get a drink when we arrived as there is no bar and the restaurant is shut.

1st of all there was three people and they only gave us a two-bedroom I explained that I had actually found the hotel up and they said it wouldn't be a problem when I got there they would sort it the gentleman that was there refused point Blank to give us another room although there were others available he was very rude and did not want to listen I showed him the email that said that there were two adults and one child he said call booking.com of course this is a seven o'clock in the evening we were going to a party so we didn't have time to do all this also there was cobwebs and insects in the rooms all around the windows and some insects were running across the floor I couldn't tell you what they were but I do have pictures and a video that shows the cobwebs I would really like a refund that I had to sleep on the floor knowing that there were insects running around hence to say I did not sleep my poor daughter was absolutely petrified bathroom was the only clean room

All of the above I don't want to keep going on about it just refund me I couldn't have stayed in a worse place and I have stayed all around the world this has to be the worst

Basic room on a budget, shower with clean towel and toilet, zero toiletries so you will need to bring your own soap etc.

Room was too warm hard to sleep! Aircon switched on but absolutely didn't work at all!Room above you could hear noise easily, even could hear them snoring in our room at night!

The bedside cabinet had bottle wrapping. Thus suggests wasn’t checked when the previous guest left.

The location was good. the poor quality room at least had a good view away from the traffic! The room whilst old and in need of refurbishment it was at least clean and tidy. We was pleased to see a small fridge which was helpful to have. Enough parking places. only 8 mins to blue water was ideal.

We arrived to discover the restaurent and kitchen was undergoing a re build. Builders busy etc zero breakfast. Room was cold. Wifi and tv did not work. We nmanaged to get someone to make part of the tv work but no mainstream bbc or itv etc. later that evening tv = no connection. Shower was ice cold. Staff failed to get it warm on first evening. Soap dispenser was not working. tiolet seat totally loose from base. shower taps not showing hot or cold! Only two smaller towls ( we had to ask for more. Only two cups and just a few tea bags and instant coffee.. not enough considered zero servicve at reception. Returning to our room on first evening the showers still cold and the wifi for our phones was no longer working..an poiwer cut had appraerntly made matters worse. still no tv throughout our stay. After extensive comnplaints we got extra towls and they has forgotten to put the boiler back on!! once done eventually we had a fairly warm shower late on our 2nd day. Window didny shut properly. Bed night tables old and not matching the bed. The bed is clearly very old and small double. Springs gone in it thus not very comfortable ( room 109 on first floor) My customer service managing tips were met with negatrive responses!! No advice on were to get a breakfast in the morning just a flyer of an indian restaurent.. they are Indian restaurent owners :) On last morning the shower started warm but got cooler = cold rushed shower. In their stupid panic they tried to offer anopther room which woyuld have offered zero improvement only inconveniance of moving our things. Wardrobes didnt have any shelves in them and in bathroom the small shelve above the sink was gone! No hand towls for sink ! Staff dissappeared all evening leaving only a number to call. We wqas not informed about a power cut and that wife or showers were not working!! Very unsympathic staff!!

Big room, clean.They let us order in food to our room.I found the bed comfortable, my husband didn't.Bathroom looked recently refurbished.

Fire escape downstairs blocked by 2 x propane gas bottles. Not safe at all.Restaurant closed but that not mentioned on the website. American Diner next door doesn't serve alcohol or cater for wider diets eg. Vegan so had to order in a pizza.Small double bed.

Location close to Brands Hatch. Rooms w decor was nice and it was clean

The restaurant was closed, so food available, this wasn’t made clear when booked. Heating didn’t work, it was looked at by a member of staff, another room was mentioned but was not offered. I was too tired to bother so slept in clothes. Tried to have a shower in the morning, the hot water was ok in the sink, but the shower was cold. As I said before no breakfast available. No staff on duty in the morning. Was just glad to leave.

Good value for money. Quiet. Ample parking.

Location was just what we wanted for our visit. Room was a good size and was really clean, and had adjustable air con and heating. Staff were excellent. We only had 2 towels in our room and I asked for a handtowel. They didn't offer handtowels but brought me an additional towel immediately. There was a fridge in the room, which considerately had a pint of milk supplied. Tea and coffee facilities. TV in the room (but only freeview). The bed was firm but exceptionally comfortable, with 2 pillows each, a soft and hard pillow, and the sheets felt good quality. The room was very quiet, so we slept well. We paid for a 'superior room' so don't know what the regular rooms were like. There was plenty of parking in the hotel car park.

I noticed on Booking.com that it stated that £100 deposit would be taken from my card on arrival which would be refunded when we left, subject to no damage to the room. I was a little startled by that, but no deposit was taken, thankfully. The bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower, but the bath had no taps, so it was not possible to take a bath. There were no bedside lights, so only quite fierce ceiling lights. No lift, and we were 3 floors up. Not a problem for us but may be for others. Do not expect ultra-modern.This hotel has a really good Indian restaurant (as we know from a previous visit), which sadly was out of use due to building works.
