Perfect hotel in perfect location of paignton.

Only problem was the fridge in the room it wasn't cold.

Didnt eat at the premises , had a free drink due to the room not being ready !!!!

As a person who goes around the uk professionally reviewing hotels I can happily say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at not just the hotel but the area the room very big very nice and fancy and they do a free upgrade I would recommend this hotel a lot especially for a week stay price very well definitely worth the money the staff was quick and hassle free checked in all I did was give my name number and address and I was in checking out handed my key cards and out then I was out very speedy system but overall really good

There was almost nothing I dint like maybe the shower getting everything wet as the shower has a little flaw to it as the glass is not wide enough so it ends up getting the bathroom soaked on the floor but other then that it’s honestly so good so the one flaw I saw there’s was like 20 wins to go against that flaw

lovely hotel staff where lovely but the room is way to hot and there is not way of turning the heat down. everything was set, the tv only at one volume no up or down. same as the heating set at one setting no up or down.

Lovely hotel and clean

The hotel was closed this night and all guests were booked into the mercure hotel which was great but I had no warning of this and when I turned up with my bags all the doors were locked with no signs. Bit of a faff

Room was lovely and spacious and clean,lovely clean wet room requested soft pillows,which they did supplied. Overall very very good .

There was nothing we didn’t like as every thing was excellent.cannot fault it.

Cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere, the superior room was absolutely immaculate. Room Service for breakfast was a great added touch

Modern, good facilities, and location

We were upgraded to the sister hotel Mercure next door. On site parking, very clean, lovely decor, lovely room with tea coffee and bottle of water and biscuits. Spacious bathroom and big shower. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location

Pillows were awful. Either hard or lumpy. Spaces in their car park, extremely tight

Disappointed we had to pay extra for parking considering it was attached to the hotel and we were a paying guest

When we was placed in the Mercure my partner informed me when he was going for a cigarette late at night and (he is visually impaired) he was going to go out of the automatic doors at the main entrance but they were locked for the night but then when asking the receptionist how to get out they just stood behind the desk and pointed to a dark area where there is a fire door seeing that he has a white cane and not being able to see if there is any obstructions in that area, when he tried looking for the door the receptionist continued to stand behind the desk and carry on her conversation with he colleague who was in the office and when he asked is this the right one they bluntly said yes and continued conversating with the other colleague and when he returned was not acknowledged at all , I feel this is very poor customer service especially under the health and safety and the equalities act and needs to be worked on ASAP !

Excellent hotel on the sea front, clean,comfortable very close to town centre. Would highly recommend

The hotel room was nice, comfortable, neat, and clean. All the necessary amenities were available, and the environment was very pleasant. The facilities were well-maintained, and overall it felt quite decent.

The only downside was the “sea view” — while it is advertised, the sea is actually a bit far from the room. When you open the window, the view is more of the road than the sea.
