Pros +
- Good evening meal in very nice bar area.
- Lovely home situated walking distance from the ferry terminals. Greeted by the owner and helped to our room.
- We chose this for the location, and also much cheaper than the local chain......not to be named. Centrally located, good parking; easy to walk to the town for shops, bars, restaurants etc
Cons -
- Room in need of updating. Not very warm and no means of heating in bathroom.
- Nothing I can think of.
- A late check out when our plans altered would have been really helpful

I love the hotel very much, it is located in the centre of Haverfordwest. It is very historic building but it has a modern look to it. The beds were also very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious.
The only down fall to our room was we could hear the neighbour using the bathroom within the walls next to our room. Everytime they flushed the toilet or used the taps I would hear the pipes make a loud noise which wasn’t nice because this would happen during the night too.
Breakfast excellent. Pillows a bit hard, but bed reasonably comfortable. Room warm and pleasant
Whole hotel a little "tired". Lots of grey walls, brown carpets and quite dark passages. No lift, we managed, but not ideal given the number of stair connections
Location was perfect. Good choice for breakfast and vegan option s
Being placed on 2nd floor alot of stairs 8
Grace responds when I had noise problem with other guest, another time made sure she helped when heating in room not efficient she provided upgrade to resolve.
I would like rooms a little brighter
beautiful large very friendly happy staff Great location plenty of parking
Breakfast was okay but it would have been better to have freshly made cafeteria ‘s at each table . Also limited jans . On the other hand the lunch tine sandwiches and salad along with the evening meal were excellent . Good for solo travellers .
Breakfast and the coffee . Also the berries weren’t defrosted .
Rooms spacious. Olde worldly yet had all facilities.Bath, shower excellent.Staff helpful - see below.
4am in morning someone started loud walking around above me with noise penetrative through the ceiling. Did not stop.Staff informed and they provided me with different room for second night. Did not have this calamity second night.
Needed last minute accommodation due to car breakdown. Staff were extremely helpful both at reception, in bar and at breakfast Food was lovely both in bar and at breakfast
Bedroom was extremely small. But that may have been because I was travelling alone
Clean and comfortable room. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Would stay again.
Didn't used the shower because i didn't like the bathroom.
Fantastic Breakfast. Served with a smile. Friendly Staff. All Good Round Experience.
Breakfast was excellent, service was very good. The room was good, and the bed was comfortable The bathroom was a little disappointing not enough of the little things that make a big difference, soap shampoo very sparse.A grab rail for the bath shower.
Decore could be brightened up, two sets of keys when two guests in one room,a phone connection to reception would be very useful.
The younger staff were pleasant enough
We were met on arrival by an older woman who told us we could check in but couldn’t use the bar facilities because there was a wedding expected an hour later but we could come back later to the restaurant to eat. We found her very unfriendly and she gave us the impression that she wanted our money but not our presence. We won’t be returning.
Comfy bed and some vegan options for breakfast.
Hotel is pretty dated, although kept clean (mostly). It’s a little maze-like, which isn’t necessarily an issue, but the door closers universally close doors far too quickly, which made carrying more than one thing an absolute pain, and they’re loud. (these can be replaced and/or adjusted to slow them down)Condensation was an issue, with the blind in the bathroom and curtain in the main room showing signs of mould.Lots of gurgling and dripping going on whenever anything with water was used, and you can hear next door’s pretty clearly (and their occupant). Also got a weird setup of a separately situated toilet to the bath/sink - just more noise if you’re up late. We’ve stayed in worse places, but also stayed in far better, cheaper places.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Also the evening meal was also lovely
Maybe a paint freshen up
Good location . Good restaurant. Car park places.
Dated rooms. Toilet on its own separate to bathroom with no hand basin. Very weird. Lots of stairs no lift. Rooms smelled a bit damp and mould on window frames .
Welcome from all the staff is always excellent, breakfast also excellent
Room was tired and outdated bathroom poor and divan bed bases well worn
Good position positive staff
