the whole environment is a bit dated and in need of restortionsome smell of mold

The hotel looks tired and needs quite a bit of work. Grouting needs a clean in shower area, window frame looking drab and carpet quite worn and dirty

Plenty of space in bedroom. Good choices on menu, enjoyed dinner & b'fast.

Great location, friendly staff, and good food.

Beds were very comfy

There seemed to be lack of communication between the staff or systems were not updated to reflect breakfast was added for all 3 rooms (42,45,80). Initially when we all went for breakfast I was told our rooms were not on the list which implies we hadn’t paid for breakfast and were trying to get breakfast without paying for it! This was extremely embarrassing!! The second issue we faced was when we were seated for breakfast at 8.55am there was no breakfast all the trays were empty… we waited along with other guests for over 25 minutes to have some eggs, beans, and hashbrowns! Then came the final straw - I had a staff member approach me to tell me breakfast fr room 80 had not been paid for and I now owe them for the breakfast for the guests in my group who stayed in room 80. I then got a little annoyed (understandingly because guests from the table closer to us heard the staff member when she implied we ate food we hadn’t paid for) and again I explained breakfast was added to the booking for that room when we checked in last night!

They cater for dogs really well. Room was huge and clean

They didn't have us down as needing a room for dogs but resolved it

Great Location for the town center, Plenty free onsite Parking, very friendly staff Food was excellent good value and large portions and Bar wasn't over expensive like some hotels Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice and as much as you want

The hotel just felt a bit tired but didnt effect our stay

Very easy to find, car parking free and plenty of spaces.Very big room, with comfy beds. Ate in restaurant & food very tasty.

Shower was not easy to use & bathroom door was squeaky.

The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. It may be a little shabby but it's clean, the breakfast was good and it's exceptional value for money.

The room was extremely tired which made it look unhygienically unclean.The rooms aren't sound proof I was kept awake by the most revolting noises from someone with a cold and dodgy bodily functions - very unpleasant.

Quick check in, friendly helpful staff, good food selection nicely prepared and good quality.

Room 87 somewhat dated, not very clean, hairs on carpet (suspect dog) dust on surfaces, very poor shower water pressure and tepid.

The hotel is very good value for money. Love the breakfast and the staff are lovely.

The only issues I have,were that I couldn't position the shower head in it's holder and when I wanted to make a cup of tea the kettle still had water in it which smelt a bit.

Good spacious room in a well lit hotel. Close to my area of interest.Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. A repeat guest, that says enough.

Poor coffee, mixed opinion on fried breakfast, but not awful. Good alternatives however.
