Hartnoll Hotel

Hartnoll Hotel is a very welcoming “I fell like I am home” destination.Well appointed comfortable rooms with character and first class function.

Small room for the price, drinks very expensive, good breakfast.

The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were lovely. Service was good. Manager very accommodating.

No spa facilities that were advertised. I had a phone call from the spa before I came stating that I could use its facilities as the treatments were all booked up on the Friday, only to find out it was closed. Over cooked eggs at breakfast, bacon overcooked on burger in the evening meal and at breakfast.

Very disruptive having a glass door in the bathroom and a glass window from the bathroom also.The light sensor in the bathroom was a nuisance and was disruptive to sleep. The lift wasn't working during our stay.

Lovely hotel. So friendly, really helpful. Spa is lovely and you get it all to yourself was perfect. We went for my husbands birthday he loved it. Will definitely return. I also left my expensive cleanser in shower! They found it and were brilliant and are sending it back to me! So helpful. Nothing is a problem.

Nothing to dislike

A great location near the M5 for meeting a group of friends. A lovely clean hotel with the bonus of a spa. Friendly helpful staff. A good breakfast and evening meal too.

A couple of extra choices of mains on the evening menu would be good. For example a chicken dish.

Friendly helpful staff, value for money and excellent location. Loved my experience in the thermal suite....very relaxing!

We had no hot water on our last morning, so no hot shower!

Fantastic staff, hotel was clean, warm and welcoming.The suite was clean, well appointed and luxurious.

There is an A Road outside and some drivers drove far in excess of the speed limit. This made pulling out of the hotel a bit nerve wracking. A mirror, speed bumps or speed camera would make it safer, especially as there is a school opposite.

We have stayed here previously and this known as a good hotelGreat breakfast

The evening meal was exceptional, the breakfast great.Reception and spa staff friendly and very helpful.The restaurant staff were friendly, some could have a little more training to be attentive but really everyone was great.Room was lovely & clean & tidy.

The stairs we have to climb to get to our room on the Attic. The lift was out of order.

Excellent value for money, very delicious dinner at a very reasonable price, and opulent breakfast (included).

The WiFi network is unstable and made it impossible to get any meaningful work done. Since the general network signal is extremely weak at the hotel, this was a bit of a let-down but overall it didn't impact the joy of staying here.

Everything was lovely. Rooms, The food, The Spa & all the treatments available.

The menu was fine but the food choices are the same every night. The menu doesn't vary, that was the only thing I thought they could improve on.

Easy parking, conveniently located. Nice friendly staff.

Room was very small, my wife hit her head on sloping ceiling, noisy sliding glass door to bathroom, double bed was two singles put together, shower temperature went up and down constantly, room too hot as radiators left on and fan couldn't be used as made rattling noise, can't have window open due to road noise. Feather pillows and duvet were too soft and very hot. TV had about 10 channels on... Yeah it was just really disappointing. We've stayed in much better for half the price!!!!

Lovely building in its own grounds. Smiling faces and a distinctive interior decor with taste and some surprises! Never seen a gun safe in a bedroom before!! The set dinner and breakfasts were beautifully cooked and very well presented. We went for a break and left rested and refreshed. We also had a Spa massage and again the staff were smiling and welcoming. Nice Spa rooms and slow, timeless massages that left us quite chilled. I would certainly go back and recommend... very nicely done team!

Qe did ask to move rooms as the room offered only had a shower. But that accomoted and teh new room was far nicer and the bath was great...
