Penventon Park Hotel

The room was comfy,the shower was great, staff were super friendly, and the location was ideal. Loved the leisure area - the pool, sauna, and gym were great for squeezing in some exercise. And the food? Amazing!

One thing that didn't quite hit the mark was the room service - it was a bit hit or miss. Hope they can sort it out, as the rest of our stay was brilliant!

The staff as always are really friendly and helpful.Food was good.My husband enjoyed a lovely savory afternoon tea.

Weve stayed here before and always had a lovely room, but this time, the room is the worst weve stayed in. The bathroom wasnt as clean as i would expect, and there was a musty damp smell along the corridor to the room, and abit musty in the room.If we were staying for more than one night i would have complained.

Breakfast was very good.

Room could be organised better, TV, in wrong place perhaps another wardrobe. Smell of damp in places.

Staff here really good excel. We were visiting for a Christmas party and the hotel was very busy but staff were happy, attentive and friendly.Room was of a surprisingly large size and well equipped.

Some areas of the hotel appear a little dated, but this is reflected in the price and more than compensated for by everything else it provides.

The breakfast was exceptional.

The female changing rooms in the spa were very dirtyMy bed had a couple of protruding springs

Beautiful grand old hotel but very well maintained and updated.

4th visit in about 6 months and we just love it! Despite living 30 minutes away, and being very well travelled, this place is an absolute benchmark to what a hotel should be. The staff are absolutely amazing, from the minute you check in, to the minute you leave. ♥️

Nothing, it’s been amazing every time!

We loved how friendly the staff were and accommodating. A dog friendly hotel is rare to find and this made are stay so much easier.

The swimming area was very busy.

The staff were extremely professional, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the race, and the food was excellent especially the breakfast.The spa and pool were great additions to the stay, they can get a bit crowded.

Also if your coming from the Arc of Attrition, I would recommend you place shoe covers at the entrance, to avoid mud in the hotel, I had my own, was not a issue for me

Poor cleanliness, tired property and decor, gym facility was sticky and small, hairs on the towels.

The hotel is an impressive building inside and out ,our room was clean and decorated to a high standard , the staff are polite and friendly and operate to a very high standard ,highly recommend this hotel.

The single room was very small for the price paid, it is a pity as the next night i stayed in a room 6 x the size , queen double for £47 in Teigmouth. lovely long pool and sea views.

Good location and friendly staff. Room was quiet and had good facilities.

Beautiful building, room was lovely x food and drink was exceptional and the staff were absolutely amazing.New dinner menu was full of choice, stayed a few times before and each room has had it's own character.Spa has the basics and again the staff are lovely.

Breakfast was surprisingly bland.Not as many starters as I would have liked. Cooked breakfast was tasteless. so much in fact that I went contiental the last morning

Staff were friendly and attentive which was really lovely.... Beautiful hotel and room. Clean. Lovely decked area leading to a grass area to exercise my dog, Bella. Also, there was a gorgeous little gift package for Bella to include treats, blanket, towel, food and water bowls.. I didn't make it to the spa and swimming pool on this occasion but it looked great.

Corridors dusty and clearly not hoovered in sometime along the edges.

Excellent breakfast. Cooked freshly rather that in containers in a buffet.

It would be good to have some additional lagers to choose from. Estrella or moretti.
