Manor House Hotel and Thermal Spa Gardens, Alsager

Great location - easy access to M6 motorway and all major highways, but still in a small town/rural area. Really pretty location. Old world charm. GREAT people who could not have been more friendly or helpful. Well kept hotel, great bar/restaurant. Pool!

There should be Some semi skimmed milk in the bedroom as well as full cream as full cream makes tea too milky.

How cold the rooms were

The facilities are fantastic, a beautiful, luxury-feeling spa with plenty of space to not feel crowded. Everything was clean and well maintained. Service was impeccable, specifically Alex at the poolside bar and John at breakfast. The dinner was AMAZING, the menu is very impressive and the quality of the food was stunning. We were blown away by the level of finish, rivalling a lot of high-end restaurants in Manchester. Get the full 3 courses! Overall, unbelievable value for money

We did go on a Tuesday in January, but music was very low during dinner. After a couple of drinks we felt like we had to lower our voices to talk and that it was eerily quiet. Raising the music volume would solve that quite easily and create more of a vibe and relaxed atmosphere

This is our second visit. Came with a friend and we just love the facilities. Cold plunge pool, saunas, meditation room, pools, jacuzzi everything is just first class. The pool in the swim up bar is amazing. The water is hot so you never feel cold, we were there last week when the air temp was freezing. We didn’t even use the indoor facilities. We had a room with 2 king sized beds and the bed was really comfy. Towels were really plump and soft. Breakfast is 10/10, quality of the food is exceptional. If I’m being really picky there’s only one choice for the vegetarian main meal and we were there 2 nights so I did have the fish, as I didn’t want the same main, but don’t normally eat meat/fish. It was delicious tho.

Not a dislike, but a shame we were there on a Tuesday as the spa gets a deep clean which means there are no treatments, which was a shame as we would liked to have had a massage or facial. Had a facial last time and it was lovely.

Spa is really well appointed. Staff are continually straightening blankets, hanging up towels etc to keep facilities looking tidy and to deter customers from "reserving" loungers

We found the main courses in Stables restaurant to be quite heavy on salt; this may be a personal preference

the facility is Nice, clean welcoming, I enjoyed the indoor pool and sunna section. The spa was ok

We were blown away by our stay here at the Manor House. The facilities were amazing! The service was brilliant, rooms were cosy and clean. Food was outstanding and the whole vibe of the place was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend here!

environs of ground floor rooms are dated - though rooms are perfect and very comfortable. Better bike in Gym and option to turn off music would be helpful.

Excellent location.....Easy to get to by train, with only a short walk away from the station. The room was comfortable & pretty quiet throughout the 2 night stay. Felt like a VIP in the indoor spa facilities which was perfect

A tour of the spa would have been helpful on arrival re: access. I would have preferred breakfast as room service being a solo traveller. I would have liked the option to opt out of housekeeping during my stay & I did note a few stains on the bedding.

Very nice comfortable and stylishly furnished room. Dinner and breakfast were both very good

The shower was over the bath with a screen - this leaked rather badly, but we noted that someone was attending to this after we checked out.

Customer service from start to finish was excellent. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Loved Spa and swim up pool, food in restaurant was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay at the Manor Hotel and Spa.

Stayed for our anniversary and everything was exceptional from reception,staff cleanliness of our rooms, the amazing spa facilities to the exceptional 3 course meal we had was amazing. We can't wait to go back!

The rooms were clean and smart. The spa was fantastic with amazing swim up bars. Cocktails were yummy as was the food and the stuff were all really friendly
