Location close to food establishments which was needed due to lockdown. Car parking spaces. Easy to get back on the motorway. Price was good.

Old mattress, it had been turned so the soft end was at the headboard. you were lower at your head. It sank in the middle too. No mattress topper could hide that. I don't mind dated furniture, but it was a complete mis mash of furniture.

Good location. Staff were lovely. Great breakfast.

The bed was tiny and possibly the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in so had a terrible sleep. Other than that the place was good

The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was perfectly suitable for my needs. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly and willing to help with anything. The breakfast was well organised and very tasty with plenty of options.

Once again a fab base for visiting family. At this visit we found this was also a great location for accessing public transport. So easy and so cheap to get a bus to Crewe station and travel back to Edinburgh (avoiding the M6)

From entrance to breakfast the following morning, the accommodation & service was really good. Rooms are just what was needed on a night away for business. Clean, tidy, friendly & if I need to go to the same place again for work I will definitely stay here.

Friendly check in, and good instructions. Loved the choosing your breakfast option. Comfortable beds, clean and room was very spacious. Also despite the main road location, the room was very quiet, and warm. Great lounge area, which was fabulous as we were travelling as a family group. Lovely tea and coffee making facilities, and my step son particularly appreciated the kit kat refill!!! Room was serviced as we stayed two nights, which was lovely. If you are looking for a stay with character rather than corporate nonsense, this is definitely the place for you. Just over a mile into Alsager on foot.

Really just the shower, it was ok and worked perfectly, but we are used to a very good shower at home, so no complaints, just merely an observation.

Lovely welcome by owner and good rooms, we had a twin and small double. Very dog friendly. We had an amazing cooked breakfast in the morning.

Breakfast was excellent. The man who greeted us and served breakfast was friendly and helpful. It was very good value for the price.

There was only one bedside table with one reading lamp. It would have been nice for both of us to be able to have a bedside table and lamp each.

Good welcome, whole building is clean with good decor. Plenty of breakfast options which is served in a lovely room. Hot food freshly cooked. Excellent.

Warehouse development across the road has led to an increase in traffic noise not a problem when windows are closed but noticeable when window open for ventilation.

The double room was spacious and clean. The beds were OK but the duvets easily slid off. The breakfast was superb and I liked the fact that it could be ordered the night before and was brought to the table hot and freshly made, a welcome change from serve yourself from a table of breakfast items mostly cold.

The room was barely warm enough and there was only warm water in the bathroom which was not hot enough for a shower or a bath.

Owners gave us more than a friendly welcoming felt like family almost and the cooked breakfast is amazing and exceeds expectations also amazing continental choices throughout breakfast menu...the hotel itself has a home from home feel and is lovely and all the modern day essentials you'd need ie smart tv and WiFi etc cant wait to stay again
