    Pros +

    • The friendly accommodating welcome from the hosts. I was confused about the check in time and would have arrived an hour early, but I arrived much earlier than that. The owners welcomed me warmly in any case.
    • I liked the location. Also liked the small peaceful village it was in.
    • Excellent stay. Perfect for someone passing through for a night. Pub had the Football on so that passed the evening. Breakfast included which was excellent!

    Cons -

    • Nothing at all, no. For the price, and a lovely breakfast included, it was exceptional value.
    • The hours of the pub.
    • Not their fault at all but it is in a small village with not even a shop! Pub does food and crisps though

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower had lots of hot water. They allow dogs. Lovely cooked breakfast. It was very close to Bletchley Park which was our destination the next day.

Very friendly pub with a very welcoming host. Food was great, and our dog Roo was spoilt rotten!

Room was compact but clean, comfortable and great value.

Great little place. The owners were a lovely couple and made us feel really welcome. The food was good especially the breakfast, although it would have been nice to have a dessert but it really wasn’t a problem. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury this isn’t the place for you but if you want a friendly, warm and comfortable quiet place who make you feel really welcome this is the place to stay. Our stay was short but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend this place.

It was my third time at this property and it was really good.Nice and cosy room for a single person.Breakfast was excellent each day as always prepared by a nice lady.Parking space at the back is a real bonus.Recommend to everyone.

A bit dated but ok.Not clean 100% they need to improve it.

Had a very comfortable stay at the Three Horseshoes. The room was clean, well-equipped and was a decent size - little touches like bottled water and biscuits were a welcome addition too. The bathroom was also clean and spacious with a lovely, hot, shower. The breakfast was also freshly cooked and delicious. In all, we were very well looked after here and would certainly return.

Nothing really - it was a decent pub/hotel which offend good value for money.

    Comfy bed, lovely food

Paper thin walls. No fault of the hosts but heard the man from the room next door throwing up in the bathroom at 1am.Bathrooms were basic and tired

Friendly staff and locals, the place was clean, tidy well run.

A bit far from shops, but they have a fish n chip van that comes in the evenings.

Food, service etc. all great, clean bed with very thick duvet

Bedroom barely adequate heating, with one small radiator - bathroom has no heating at all - told to "leave the bathroom door open" which does nothing. Water pressure below average for a decent shower

Close to Bletchley Park. Check in with friendly barman. Parking. Dinner and breakfast cooked fresh. Good atmosphere. Tea and coffee.

Yes bathroom was cold not a problem. Bedroom well heated. It is a very old building which is part of the reason to stay. Traditional pub not standard hotel.

I met a very warm welcome from staff and even got to watch the match. great location I only wish I had found it the week before.

    10JamiepritchardPosted on: 1-30-2025

Such a reasonable price and great to have breakfast included. I thought i had left my charger at the hotel (I hadn't it was in my bag) and staff were very helpful looking and ringing me back to let me know they hadn't found it.

Didn't realise it was in quite a remote location but that's my fault for not checking and still worth the money!

Very friendly local with excellent host. Locals friendly, meals good, beer great. Excellent value for money.

    Bathroom could have been warmer.

    8StevePosted on: 1-24-2025

Breakfast excellent, room adequate, beer excellent. Very reasonably priced and owners were really friendly and obliging. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Room over the pool table and beer delivery early in the morning, but it's a pub and I knew this when booking.

A nice friendly welcome at a cozy country pub. The room was clean and toilet/shower was just next door. The room had a telly with Netflix etc...but terrestrial reception was poor. A good full English breakfast in the morning with a pot of tea included in the reasonable price.

The mattress was just a bag of springs and very uncomfortable. I didn't have a good night's sleep. The stairs leading to the bedrooms upstairs were very steep and narrow.

    10HollyPosted on: 1-1-2025

Lovely pub and atmosphere. Landlord and lady were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was also great.

    7DavidPosted on: 12-28-2024

Good breakfast, radiator in our room could not be turned off so we slept with the window wide open and the ceiling fan on.. not ideal!

    3PaulPosted on: 12-28-2024

    Needs a refurb.

Communal shower and WC facilities are dated and dirty.
