    Cons -

    • The only things that we would of liked would have been a casual area for drinks, as the very few tables outside the restaurant area were taken
    • Struggled to use the spa facilities, check in is from 3, spa allows children at 4, walked in and the entire place was like the local lido. Kids jumping off the side, people sat on top of each other. No changing facilities. £10 non refundable hire of a robe. None in room. Had to get changed into swimwear in the toilets else I’d have had to walk through the hotel in a towel. Couldn’t book any treatments and all were over £100 for anything longer than £25 minutes. Suspicious fresh stain on the bed runner, asked to be changed and 2 drinks (glass of wine) vouchers were given when complained to front desk. Booked Executive King room yet was quite basic, but alright for the money. Smoke shed positioned at the corner of the car park & start of circular loop of the grounds absolutely covered in litter, spread into the surrounding trees and undergrowth. Absolutely disgusting and for such a beautiful stately home, the damage to the wildlife is awful. Only suites are in the main section of the house, the rest is what appears to be a recent extension that didn’t aesthetically fit the same standard
    • Not a fan of dogs in the restaurant

Good gym and open long hours. Good value, nice room.

Room 128 a LONG way from reception and no help with bags. They allow dogs in the restaurant, I really hate this!!!!! No cold meats with breakfast.

Everything, it was beautiful, clean and wish I could have stayed longer.

Some of the bar staff were a bit rude!

    10ClaraPosted on: 2-19-2026

The quiet tranquil moments in the swimming area without the children was amazing

    It’s family oriented

    5RichardsonPosted on: 2-19-2026

    Passable

Bed was not good 2 beds were pushed together and kept falling down between them so I kept waking up

    8MartinPosted on: 2-18-2026

Location of the hotel excellent, room very clean (308)

Breakfast was a little mad and packed out, but ok.

    4TomPosted on: 2-18-2026

    The staff were lovely

It was well over priced for what was offered . And the hit cooked breakfast was really poor especially rhe scrambled eggs

    5DaniellePosted on: 2-18-2026

The food in Harrys resturant was beautiful

Room wasnt a twin as requested, had to drag beds apart and ask for blankets at reception, no apologies or anything.Swimming pool, sauna and steam room facilities are lovely, but tiny!, never got to use the sauna or steam room as its full capacity was a maximum of 4 people, bit dissapointing.

    10JonathanPosted on: 2-18-2026

    9TomPosted on: 2-17-2026

Very clean, very modern and very friendly helpful staff. Food in both restraunts were excellent! Room was clean and comfortable

    7MahfuzaPosted on: 2-16-2026

Beds were extremely comfortable the room had great heating and lighting.Breakfast was good although on the second morning there were no vegetarian sausages. More non-pork options would make it more inclusive.Harry’s Bar was great value and the sea bass was delicious. The surroundings were beautiful, lots of greenery and loved the antique decor.

While the manor itself is beautiful, the service didn’t match the setting. Some staff weren’t particularly friendly especially for hospitality. The spa staff and the lady serving afternoon tea seemed annoyed when asked questions, which felt unwelcoming. For a deluxe king room, it felt quite small more like a classic room. The sauna was also on the smaller side, and charging extra for robes was surprising. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a higher level of service, especially compared to other hotels we have visited where the staff truly elevate the experience.

    8ClivePosted on: 2-16-2026

Great facilities Spa, Gym & pool. Didn’t use Harry’s so can’t comment.

    7AndrewPosted on: 2-16-2026

The room, comfy bed, alcohol prices.

The spa, it's incredibly noisy due to poor room design.

    10AndrewPosted on: 2-15-2026

Location , very modern clean rooms ,pleasant helpful staff

No issues at all , if I was being really picky breakfast was nice but have had better.but none the less still good value
