At the time of check in staff couldn’t find the booking or even the key card of room.Gave excuse that their Internet is down.

Great location, quiet and peaceful. Close to amenities.

No air conditioning but there was a fan which was used in the evenings as it gets quite warm in the room.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with a good selection of choices, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our mattress was very hardWe wanted to book for next year but was informed that no dates had been released and coach parties had priority.

We were not given a table number for breakfast and then we were asked to move half way through our breakfastIt seems that the coach parties have priority over normal guests It should be noted on the booking page that this is a hotel designated for coach parties as a just as we arrived so did 2 coach parties

Loud live music on in the hotel!Started early and was still going at 22 30!Nobody mentioned it till we got there and it must have kept the whole of this large hotel awake.

Old building but v well maintained, furnished & decorated. Comfortable bed, controllable central heating radiator in room, opening window for fresh air, electric shower cubicle so always hot water, spotlessly clean & refreshed daily. Staff amazing & seemed genuinely friendly & interested in their guests’ experience. Timed breakfast a little regimented but maximises kitchen efficiency, probably helps to keep costs down & ensures everyone ready for full-day coach trip (their main business) Evening entertainment seemed well attended & good standard but we only needed b&b. Tasty breakfast.

Phone & wifi signal always intermittently poor in this part of Sandown. Bayshore better than another we stayed at before.

View from bedroom window could hear and see the sea. Very close to the beach. Lifts to different floors. Poole table. Good options for breakfast. Room very spacious with table and chair by window. Good facilities are available in the bedroom such as kettle, cups and hairdryer.

Staff did not communicate,did not greet us on arrival.when trying to book breakfast for the next morning was told it couldn't be booked without the chefs say so(who seemingly was in bed asleep).tried to book breakfast on two more occasions but to no avail.customer service terrible.room door only closed with a Yale key ,there was no way of locking the door.the lock on the Yale had been taken off,I do not think this is very safe.I have never stayed in a hotel that had no phone in the room or complimentary biscuits.I am glad I only stayed in this hotel one night,as staff ignoring paying customers is very rude and not acceptable.
