    Pros +

    • Unfinished and unloved - you will be sorry to stay here
    • Recently renovated very trends and comfortable
    • Very clean, room is modern, good facilities and great attention to detail from the owners. Zoe was fantastic, did a lot to make my short stay as smooth as possible. Thankyou again.

    Cons -

    • Appalling experience with check-inWe were told we'd receive a QR code (which worked as the room key) on the day of arrival (as there was no reception after 6pm on Sunday). When the QR code failed to arrive in my email inbox, it took me 2 booking.com in-app messages, 3 text messages, 3 missed mobile phone calls, and 3 calls to the hotel front desks, and in total 5 hours just to get a simple QR code, which was frustrating and stressful to say the least.Over-priced and poorly-kept roomThe so-called 'deluxe' room is anything but. Furniture is cheap and hastily put together and poorly finished. The lack of proper housekeeping (if it was performed at all) was clear to see upon arrival: heavy layers of dusty in every dim corner; grime and heavy watermarks all over bathroom; dirty window. There's even a half-empty sachet of shampoo left by the previous guest in the shower (pictured) - it's truly repulsive. Poorly-run hotel & poor customer serviceThe environment outside the room is no better. During our entire stay, the entrance remained a construction site with an exposed floor and random bricks all over the corridor, and the lift was also out of order. Shockingly, we were not informed of any of these conditions prior to check-in or at the time of booking by the hotel.Suffice to say this hotel is an utter disappointment and charging £149 for a room like this surely feels like a scam.
    • Easy to find and great location once off the Red Jet ferry
    • Heating did not work properly. Lifts broken . Property was cold .Bed was very small and room small and sparse . Coffee machine was equiped for one person only .. and there was twoof us !! Breakfast was available apparently, but told after we checked out that we were supposed to book it?

Rooms were well finished and immaculately clean.Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

    8MckenziePosted on: 1-2-2025

The hotel was clean with comfortable beds, good quality linen and toiletries supplied. Very quiet considering the high street location and the blackout blinds stopped all external light getting in.

Although the room was warm, the tiled floor was cold underfoot, but I guess more hygienic than a nice warm carpet.

Location fantastic - right by Red Jet and in the midst of cafes restaurants pubs and shops. Wonderfully quiet at night.

The hotel is unmanned most of the time so is perhaps a little impersonal. Rooms comfortable and well equipped. The windows don't open which is a negative for us. No breakfast offer and rather odd bar - sometimes open

    Room facilities

building work dirty the room mirrors were dirty and sticky finger marks on the doors to the bathroom sadly the bar below our room kept us awake with noose and music til 2.30am and we had a wedding the next day so hardly got sleep horrendous no one at reception so rang up to say we couldn't stay another night due to the noise snd had to pay out to stay somewhere else apologies not interested also asked for a 11am check in when we arrived the room not ready why ask us expected arrival time we paid top price for this accommodation and people should be aware of the noise from the bar below

The room was modern. Bar was great with the robot. Location was perfect. Staff were great.

Fire alarm in the middle of the night with no procedure. No staff turned up until I rang them.

Lovely designed room, bed eqs comfy. Loved all the up to date technology, for example the TV can cast and use netflix etc. Great location bang on the high street with independent cafe and restaurants.

    8VictoriaPosted on: 8-19-2024

The location in Cowes is amazing and within walking distance to the shops, bars and seafront. Very clean in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely products supplied in the room and the bathroom was great with a really good shower.

There is only a coffee machine in the room and whilst there is a function to have hot water for tea, this is not any where near as good as a kettle. There are also no tea bags supplied, only coffee. It would also be helpful to have a fridge in the room so that the water can be kept cold and there is somewhere to put milk. Veryyyyyy slow lift!

    10MariasPosted on: 8-11-2024

Great new gem in Cowes, directly on the high street and very close to the ferry terminal. Brand new rooms with all facilities one can wish for, including bath robes, great toiletries, coffee maker and smart TV. I also appreciated the 2 free water bottles per person. I liked the stylish and quirky decor with attention to detail. Nice bar in an open spacious room. I wish the owners all the best with their new venture.

Although air-conditioning is good, I would prefer to be able to open the windows. The door to the reception should be open at all times during the day for easy access. Although I could phone the owners on the mobile, it is not the most convenient.

    10KennyPosted on: 8-7-2024

Really lovely and clean, great coffee machine lots of really nice touches. In the heart of town brilliant location.

There was nothing to not like

    8MauroPosted on: 8-2-2024

Perfect location, close to the ferry, buses, restaurants and the waterfront walkway. The hosts were also very nice and helpful.

There are bars nearby that sometimes play load music on the weekends.

    Location was just fantastic

Very modern, super clean with exceptional service

    10GeorgePosted on: 7-22-2024

It was less than 2 mins from the red jet dock. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts were lovely and there was nothing at all we could fault about our stay.

    Room good, facilities good

Coffee maker, too complicatedVery noisy stairs down to the 2 front rooms. The carpets need to be thicker .Balcony doors very noisy to close too. Light was flicking, couldnt see where to report it as reception closed when I left .
