Beautiful location and the room was decorated accordingly

Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable and too small.Breakfast was expensive based on the food available for selection

Excellent breakfast, great location. There for a wedding, plenty of space indoors and outdoors for everyone including kids to enjoy their time.

That we only had 1 x night stay , we will definitely book two nights the next time

The Hotel claims to be 4 star but in truth it offers nowhere near this level of comfort or conviviality. Its sole benefit is its location and grounds which are superb but do not be fooled.

Worn out towels, limited bar and wine options, polyester sheets, cheap loo rolls, staff who clearly resented your presence, a limited menu with options that were out of stock

We booked a late check in but arrived to find the porter asleep and couldn’t access the property for half an hour. Waiting outside in the cold, banging on doors and making fruitless phone calls.

We didn't have an evening meal as we thought tge food was too expensive. The owner was very rude and arrogant and unfortunately let the stay down

This was a midway stop for our road trip up North, this place is ideally situated, beautiful gardens and great food.

The surrounding area of the hotel was lovely.

It is an unmanned hotel, which we were not aware of. So arriving earlier than we thought, we couldnt check in as there is no one there. The rate was also a bit high considering it didn't include breakfast. There was no casual bar area to enjoy the football, we had to travel to another hotel to watch the games.

Very dated. No bottled water. No evening meal even though the website states 8pm we arrived at 7.45 and was refused food and told we could go to the Chinese in town

Breakfast was good, room spacious and comfortable, well situated with a pleasant view over the grounds

Dinner not available, had to travel to sister hotel. One staff member less than amenable, let down the others.

Large selection of items for continent breakfast. Well cooked Scottish breakfast. Most of all friendly welcome and staff.

We didn’t end up in the Dryfesdale we got transferred to its sister hotel. It was handy just off the motorway with lots of parking. Erin (manager) was a superstar, running reception and serving meals also very supportive with my food intolerances.

Nice food. Clean and comfortable room. Convenient for transit stopover to Western Highlands from southern England.
