Pros +
- We were running late, the manager went out of her way to wait for us. She was great. We saw her the next day & she was really nice! We enjoyed talking to her.
- The owner was very responsive. We were very delayed due to transportation delays and they kept in touch with us and provided a way for us to access our room even though they had closed for the night. They also recommended perhaps a cafe that became the favourite we ate at on our stay in Scotland. Laura’s Tilly tearoom is just down the road from The Bridge Inn and it has the delicious food, a lovely ambiance, and very nice staff. Even the regulars who were there often stopped to talk to us. Centrally located, good road system available.
No breakfast or food available in-house. Beer selection and quality poor.
Great location. Rooms Need bit of tlc repainted and bigger tv.
Rooms brilliant. Big beds. Clean and tidy. Although they dont do meals, we could get a takeaway and they gave us cutlery and plates. No complaints
Great place ideal location to go off and explore the local areas
Small cups in the room cant even get a big brew in them lol nothing bad to say at all it was a great comfortable stay and we are 100% staying here again
It was where I held my stag night in 1982. Good experience. Room clean, warm And quiet, a wee bit basic but not to my displeasure. Thanks Bridge Inn.
How close it was to the venue I was attending.
The decor, lack of cleanliness and the room smelt of urine.
Whilst the hotel was dated it was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again
Very dodge step at pool table lady had a bad fall i also nearly fell.
The staff and the public in the bar were very rude
Bathroom dated and miss match furniture. Damp smell in hallway. Tea cups very small.
Bed was big and clean
Nothing it looks nice outside but inside is a different story
Pubes, hair, dust, mould & stains on wall & carpet
Convenient for work and exactly what was needed
Clean and warm and friendly, staff and locals are fantastic and make you feel welcome
Beds were clean and comfy, room was warm, great location
Room was extremely tired, wall paper peeling of the wall, a lot of dirty marks on the walls, skirting coming away from wall, mould in the shower, tap heads on back to front, nowhere to hang clothes(no wardrobe or hanging rails) walls were very thin, could hear every conversation from next door, wall lights had no bulbs in then
Comfortable, clean and amazing staff, location amazing
Good pub, friendly staff. Good location for surrounding areas.
Rooms could do with a freshen up. There are no food facilities (i.e. no breakfast, no snacks, evening meal facilities). There is no dedicated parking, just in street parking, which wasn't a problem, but for awareness.
Big bed
Karaoke until 2am under the room
good working shower, good heating, lovely view, easy access, near all facilities, near bus stop
Location was good
Rooms very old and tired, ceiling paper coming off in room 5, no wardrobe, bathroom very old, lacking plug sockets. Mattresses old and tired. Outer door left open all day with no reception or anything so anyone could get up to the rooms No food available. Requested more tea and coffee but not given
