Pros +
- This hotel has a lovely garden great breakfast and evening meals if you eat there.
- Excellent value. Breakfast was included, really nice and cooked fresh for you. Hotel clean throughout and rooms were spacious. Hotel Staff were cheerful and helpful. Wifi was great and at a excellent speed. Family friendly with strict no smoking rules.
- The evening meal ( when it finally arrived )
Cons -
- Not wheelchair friendly but only a few steps so was able to manage
- The cook was late. The bar remained closed until the cook arrived. A large portion of the menu was Filipino with no descriptions. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Sounds of people walking around on the floor above us. An unusual situation where the people running the accommodation side of the business did not appear to control the bar or kitchen.
- The wash basin only drained after lots of minutes and the exhaust kept turning on during night.

Very clean, very tidy
The wash basin only drained after lots of minutes and the exhaust kept turning on during night.
My room was comfortable and had an excellent view over the neighborhood to the sea. I was thrilled with the room and the property. Free parking and free breakfast were an added bonus!
Real coffee at breakfast would have been nice.
Great location, polite and attentive staff, comfortable and clean room.
It's a bit rough around the edges and could probably do with a lick of paint here and there. But nothing that affected our stay.
The staff were helpful and very welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and served by attentive friendly staff. And it was very good value. There is a beautiful garden with seating - I didn't get a chance to experience it but if I had more time I'd enjoy spending time there.
Everything was pretty great. There was nothing I didn't like. But if you are looking for suggestions then having a small fridge in the rooms would be great especially for guests who are staying for a week like I was. But like I said, everything was pretty great. Just a note to others, if calling the hotel to extend your stay, always select the option to talk to reception, not the option to speak to make a new booking.
It was clean, our room was beautiful and faced toward the garden. Bed was comfortable. We didn't realize breakfast was included, but we were glad that it was--the food was good.
It was an old house with very thin walls, and weird air pressure in our hallway. Any time a door near us opened or closed, our door rattled as if someone was trying to open our door.
Lovely staff. Nice view from my window. Nice little bar and reception and a restaurant with a garden view. The shower was nice and big. The price point was reasonable and the location in my opinion was good. The bed was the right level of firmness for me. The towels were reasonably white and fluffy.
The carpeting in the hallway was either grubby or just grubby looking. The water in my shower was extremely hot. There was a large coffee or tea stain on the side of the bed. There was a hole in the wall next to the bathroom door about the size of a babies fist.
My other booking fell through and this place was the only hotel available at last minute. Short walk from the beach.
Everything was dated, damaged and falling apart. Room smelt like onions, no AC. Not the staff's fault though, the owners need to do some renovations. The mattress was awful and is just metal springs cutting into your back.
continental breakfast was very limited. No dairy, no fresh coffee
A very well maintained hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and always eager to please the guests. I would have no hesitation to book again. Very good Filipino food available in house
Nothing negative to say.
Convenient for where we needed to be
Shower needs regrouting and the curtains weren’t long enough to keep the sun out early morning. Just the hem needs to be put down ?♀️would do the trick
I liked the location and.proximity to the town. I liked it's large garden.
Breakfast. Very disorganised. 2 choices of breakfast, English vs Philippines. Language barrier and understanding of breakfast needs. Disappointing really. Low budget sourced breakfast but at least it was included. Hastings has so much touristic tours to offer, hotel were unaware of them and pointed us to leaflets. Hotel is Eastern European and Philippines run.
It was everything we needed - spacious, clean, tidy, quiet. The staff were so helpful- over and above!
Nothing really.
Overall nice, ticked a box
5 of us had a event we needed to be at for 8am, we asked for a 7.30 Cooked breakfast and was told Sunday it’s 8, shame as 3 missed out on Breakfast and the other 2 had to come back. For 5 I would have thought the cook could have just got in a bit earlier.Premier inn did for the 4 that stayed with them.
The Staff were wonderful, the room was really clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the serving staff and chef were really lovely, On my arrival, the gentleman receptionist jumped up to open the door and took my case up to the room. This is real service, thank you.
The en suite is a little tired.
Good welcome. Warm room. Comfortable bed.
Little breakfast choice. Sausages were tasteless. No yoghurt. QR code for menu seemed pointless, it didn't work anyway. See
Very good welcome. The receptionist showed us round. He made sure we knew where the restaurant & bar was
The shower was very hot, sadly the poorly cleaned tiles
Friendly staff.Good breakfast.Spacious garden
Nothing negative
