Good value, friendly staff, rooms decent size

Not really, mattress was a bit soft for us, but that's a subjective view

The Jenny Lind is a traditional pub in the Old Town that also offers accommodation. As a base for exploring Hastings and the wider area, the Jenny Lind could not be bettered. There is something innately warm and welcoming about the atmosphere of the building, and the staff are friendly, helpful and have all the local knowledge you could require. As someone who does not always sleep well in hotels, I found the Jenny Lind a restful, peaceful place to be - a true home away from home. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

Just be aware that the Jenny Lind does not serve breakfast - but this is not a problem as even in Jaunary I found excellent breakfast options within easy walking distance.

Excellent staff, clean comfortable room, great atmosphere, excellent beers and great choice of live music.

Staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location in the Old Town was perfect - everything I needed was in reach. Perfect for a solo traveller - easy to check in/out.

I did have an issue with the bathroom door but the staff were lovely and super quick to help fix the problem.

WiFi was tough.

The Jenny Lind Inn was well located and easy accessible to all local shops and High Street.All Staff were very good and informative making the stay there very good.However, the only down side of the Inn was the Music which continued well into the early hours of the morning followed by loud talking outside, which did keep me awake for quite a while - This was the only down side of my stay at this Inn

More Inconsiderate customers at the bar and outside in the early hours of the morning talking very loud and not thinking of other people.

Location

Couldn’t use bar in evening as my daughter wasn’t allowed after 7pm so but disappointed as I book with a child would have been nice to have been told when booking

Small TV but we didn't really mind

Lovely big clean room. Great location only got lost once Excellent and helpful communication with the management. Nothing was too much trouble. Good when a solo female traveler

Perfect location for Hastings Old Town. The room was clean,fair size and it was nice to have a small fridge.

It would have been nice to have a breakfast option. If you are leaving early, there are lots of cafes/ coffee shops nearby, but most are not yet open for business.

As a former resident of the old town,I enjoy the location and ambience.from the afternoon onwards always busy and entertaining.the accommodation is clean and functional and the team friendly.dont miss no breakfast,plenty of local eateries.?

Unfortunately because of the popularity of the Jenny,can often be unavailable for a last minute visit.?always my preferred option when I visit Hastings.?

Excellent location, friendly staff good value for money

Good location in Hastings old town, good for live music in the bar on certain evenings, bar serves good real ales.

Taps in the ensuite a bit temperamental, that didn't spoil our stay though.

Bright clean room in the centre of the old town. In the evening we spent a few hours hanging out in the pub and listening to live music while our daughter watched tv above. Easy to get in and out of the building. We had a queen bed and pull out sofa for our daughter both very comfortable. Room looked over the Main Street which was nice and had a great view towards East Hill and the sea.

We liked that we could hear the band in the room but perhaps if you had younger children it wouldn’t be great. The music finished around 9.30 but I think it sometimes goes on later. The room could do with a refresh- new bedding and maybe a lick of paint but it was very clean and functional

It was a small but very comfortable room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an excellent location right in the heart of the old town.There were no breakfast facilities however there are several cafes in the area.

Location was great and bed was comfy.

Wasn't able to leave bags after check out. I email and texted but nobody got back to me which was annoying. Had to go home early as there was nowhere in hastings ti leave bags. That was a major let down.

Great location in the heart of the old town. Clean room, good facilities. Good bar with plenty of entertainment most afternoons/evenings.

Noisy mornings with regular bin emptying over the road!

Room was peaceful, bed very comfortable. Nice hot bath. Hot chocolate and biscuits and cold bottle of water in fridge. Thank you

No breakfast

The room was clean and comfortable. It provided tea and coffee and shower products. It was well heated.
