Central location, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Warned that it was a venue for loud music some evenings and made aware well before staying, so no problem.

Bathroom needed half hours work to sort. No plug in sink, so hard to shave as water was too hot to use running. Shelf above sink half out of wall, so could not put any toiletries out, they just slid off!. Silicone from previous sink still on wall. £1 for a plug at hardware shop in same road and 1/2 hours work would sort bathroom.

Great price and location near to the Railway Station, beach, pier, shops ,bars and restaurants

Nothing really, access is via an outside gate and metal staircase. We were warned that the venue is a young person’s entertainment venue with very loud music on Friday and Saturday nights.

When I arrived I was told there is actually no breakfast included, even though it says breakfast including on booking.com, which was hugely disappointing. They found a way to give me breakfast in the end.Heating was turned off or never turned on at all. The room was very cold, which is unacceptable as it is winter. There is no way to ask for help after 11pm.

Right in the centre of deal and close to the train station. Very clean which for me is all I care about!

Saturday night is noisy until abt 2pm

Good location, great breakfast and clean room.

Vegetarian breakfasts were amazing, rooms were perfect and clean. We liked the addition of extra towels and toilet rolls in the hall.

Lovely hotel above a nice pub. It stayed open late because it was a weekend and the hotel informed us before hand of potential noise, which you could hear but I didn't find too bad. Was nice to be able to go and have a late night drink. The bed was comfy and room nice and clean. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was really good.

The room was small as expected but comfortable & well appointed. Breakfast was fantastic.

Would have been good to see some lighter options on the breakfast menu and music was played in the pub until quite late (although, in all fairness, this was advertised).

Great location for an overnight stay in Deal. We are regular visitors to Deal but not stayed at the Queen St Tap before - handy having entertainment on site.

Bed was comfortable

Breakfast too an hour to be served. Music didn’t stop until 1.20am. Room smelt like it needed a good airing.Only 1 decaf coffee pod.

Very clean rooms, bed extremely comfortable and pillows were spot on. Shower worked well and plenty of instant hot water. Breakfast (we were in a rush) was quick and easy (staff really accommodating). Breakfast was included in the price and we would liked to have tried a hot option as they did look good - and a nice range available. Staff were really helpful and pleasant.

Nothing not to like, for the price point it's spot on. Central location great but no parking (as pointed out when booking). We did find on-street parking (we got lucky), but beware you can't park in the two supermarket car parks (closest car parks till after shops shut (10pm weekdays), so really only other option is pay car parks (one where you don't pay overnight from 6pm, but need to pay after 8am the next day. All this is outside the accommodation's power but just be aware. Noise from pub (as it is a pub after all) - we stayed a Thursday night and we could hear noise from downstairs but it really wasn't an issue at all (and pub shut at 11pm anyway). As advised by the establishment when booking - Friday and Saturday nights would obviously be noisy as more going on. (This is not a criticism just an observation)

I do not have a full English breakfast but found there was not a lot of choice other than that, but having said that the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and so helpful.

everything was really good. Yes the noises from the pub, but that is to be expected knowing it was a pub when I booked and it did stop early. Perhaps weekends would be different.

Accessories in the room. Tea/coffee, Nespresso coffee machine. Ensuite shower and toilet, toiletries.

Doors slamming, need soft closing. No hot water after 9pm, so could not take a comfortable shower. Too hot in the room at night, could not leave windows open because of main busy street. Breakfast was served late on the last morning.
