    Pros +

    • Lovely Pub, lovely decor, great staff/service and absolutely delicious food. Dinner and breakfast.
    • We stayed in Room One which was stunning. The staff were wonderful and friendly and made our little getaway really special. Lovely tea and cake on arrival which made us welcome and felt relaxed from the moment we got there. We booked an evening meal which was absolutely delicious! Thankyou for a wonderful stay
    • The Rose is very stylish while at the same time being very comfortable and cosy. They focus on the things that really matter: lovely food, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, welcoming staff, and beautiful interior design.

    Cons -

    • Overall great, but small details that slightly niggled me. No refreshment facilities in rooms. All refreshments were in corridor outside our room. Had to get dressed in morning to make a coffee. No fresh milk, no water to refill kettle. No fresh cups. Just a little disappointing, but not a biggie.
    • The Rose is not on the seafront, and the views from the rooms are mostly rather uninspiring.
    • My only complaint about our stay is that wasn’t a TV in our room.

Stylish but comfortable decor. Cosy lighting with thought put into everything. The food was absolutely delicious and stunning cocktails!

Although tea making facilities were on the landing it would have been nice to have this in the room.

The property was well located and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

Staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming to the point we were made to feel uncomfortable.

Gorgeous boutique hotel. Beautiful unique interiors and very comfortable. We only stayed one night and ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was included. The food was excellent, really tasty and amazing service. The hotel offers nice little extras such as free brandy, tea and coffee in the communal hotel areas.

They only offered one vegan main in the restaurant and the blind in the bathroom was broken, so we had to improvise with a towel for privacy. It was only a minor point as everything else was great. The hotel doesn't have parking, but the public car park is 2mins walk away and only £7.80 for 24 hours.

Everything. The staff couldn’t do more for us, they went above and beyond. Food was unreal, atmosphere was perfect! Room was gorgeous bed comfy, refreshments on your floor was a lovely touch too!

Love the food, the style, the cocktails, the record player in the room, the bedding, the brandy nightcap on the house,

No tea in the room( but a lovely communal area for this if you are wearing pyjamas!)

A delightful experience, starting with drinks and cake, very caring staff, room everything you could wish for with very comfortable bed. Great choice on breakfast menu, freshly cooked local produce.

Comfort of unique rooms.Food goodStaff friendly snd helpful.

Church bells ringing on the hour...disturbed sleep. Very warm rooms. Heating bit intense.

    8TobyPosted on: 9-18-2025

The room was very comfortable, the Tea Stations were excellently equipped with varieties of tea, cakes and even a nightcap. Breakfast was very tasty. The location is ideal, very central to all that Deal can offer

We were a group about 20 at Breakfast and had pre-ordered. Much of what was ordered did not initially arrive and was quite disorganised.

    9AlisonPosted on: 7-7-2025

    Service and food exceptional

Stairs not good for older people Curtains needed more hooks

    9JamesPosted on: 7-2-2025

All the interiors are beautiful and well designed, and the breakfast is amazing! They’ve really thought of all the small details that make a huge difference on your stay

It’s a little noisy in the front rooms from the road

    9SarahPosted on: 6-8-2025

It's quirky and stylist with great attention to detail. Loved the artwork and the staff were great.

The church bells through the night were a bit disruptive, but nothing you can do about that. Would have appreciated a couple more plug sockets and WiFi that doesn't drop out.

    10MairiPosted on: 5-28-2025

Everything was lovely - stunning rooms, comfy beds, lots of gorgeous extra touches and a superb breakfast

    Can't think of anything!
