Good location near to main rd

Room was too hot at one point in night and needed another pillow each

The location for work.

Restaurant was bad. Lack of staff. Food was overpriced. The hotel was expensive for what it was. My room had no heating and the towel rail wasn't working.

Location was good and friendly staff.

Room was cold so I went to bed fully clothed. The full English breakfast was also cold so made do with hot coffee and we left early.

Nice comfortable room. Helpful staff.

Hotel is located on the A14 junction so was quite noisy. Breakfast was acceptable but not outstanding.

There was no heating in our room, and we had dinner there but one came stone cold which was tacos. And the other was not cooked, and that was hunters chicken. Yes this was rectified but really put us off having dinner there

Room was clean and tidy but would benefit from a more recent refit -decor - not really suitable for business travellers (not applicable to me this trip)

Booked room was set far back in the property via multiple doors and stairs (room 414) upon arriving at the room, key did not work, all the way back to reception for key to be re-coded, only to find the room already occupied. Guess already in situ was gracious about the issue, again 3rd trip back to reception (with luggage) to ask for a different room - no real explanation as to what had occurred (clearly my room from pre-booking had been swapped). Staff on reception assisted with bags back to new room (212) and apologised. Could have been handled better and clearly a process issue occurred with check in as the room was occupied and this should have been noticed. - Check in around 9pm on Tuesday 10th Feb

Only put heating on when your sleeping and freezing all day- no fridge,

Room was comfortable enough a little dated, again bathroom was ok nice and clean but a little outdated

Breakfast choice was poor.

The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful There was, ample parking. I did not partake of breakfast personally, but others did and reported that it was excellent. It was possible to walk into town but it was one mile or so away, so not a Central location, but I knew that before I arrived. The taxi firm recommended were prompt and inexpensive.

Not much you can do about the location.

Staff were extremely noisy from very early in the morning and walked into my room whilst I was still in bed before check out time. Talking loudly to each other and slagging off other members or staff.

Very nice room size. Clean and comfortable. Plus free parking for the guests. Nice English breakfast.

Room was fine for the price. Everything was clean.

The water pressure in the shower was generally poor. I stayed 7 nights and had one shower with good pressure. The rest of the time it was little more than a trickle. The room was very dim. I was on a work trip, and had to balance my phone on the TV shelf to provide a working light.
