clean functional and nice for the price ,great location

for the price I paid there was nothing not to like

It had a bed, TV and a fridge in the room.

Dated, no visible staff, no community or comfortable area to sit, only in your own room.

Cosy room. Toaster ,kettle and fridge. Good bed.

Could only contact staff by phone. No one on the premises to let us in.

It was clean and tidy and easy to access and had everything you need

You could flush toilet roll down the toilet you had to put it in a bin

The location was good and the staff were friendly and had cleaned well.

Beds sagged and were extremely uncomfortable, huge chunks of paint peeling off the walls, stained carpets, and no sink in the bathroom so after using the toilet you have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink which is very unhygenic. The place needs a serious upgrade. Also no reception area or any other space other than your room.

Nothing really.

Smell. Dirty. Outdated. Mattress was thin as a razor and uncomfortable. The flor in the corridor was uneven and creaking.Water pressure in the shower wasn’t existing.Place requires proper makeover.Not recommended.

After a difficult start to communications and a feeling that we just weren't wanted, a seeming rethink by new owners led to a very much appreciated move to ground floor. A good recovery from an awkward Starr. Best of luck.

Very hard mattress that upset my back.

Amazing price considering what you get. Beds were very comfy and the room smelled really good. Minimal space as you would expect but highly recommend for short stays.

The front door code did not work hot Locked out, luckily Somone came out and we then were able to get in.

Spacious room with shower and toilet, I also liked the dressing table! The bed was comfortable and the room was warm :)

I have spent one night at May Fair Hotel, and it was very a very convenient location to access nice Great Yarmouth Beach, Pleasure Beach and other entertainment facilities.

Location was good and had parking outside. Could see the sea from the window. Room was nice and big and my son had a separate room and not just an extra bed in our room. There's a whole kitchen you can use for yourself.

We had the very top room so alot of narrow staircases. Shower was awful. Water just trickled out. It was OK for the price charged and only stayed 1 night but I wouldn't stay again.

Close to amenities

Family room has awful smell and my kids could not stay there, I had to book another hotel room for them in emergency for higher cost.

Situated right on seafront near to everywhere

For a budget hotel, what do you expect, it was clean, fresh, with crisp linen on the bed.I slept well in the bed, woken only by other guests letting the doors slam shut.My only negative, which was explained in the booking the lavatory and shower on the first floor, however if you can get past that, which is only minor, then it was a pleasant stay.

Extremely satisfied with my stay, very very clean room, and extremely comfortable bed, had the best nights sleep in a hotel in a long long while, I work away Monday to Friday, so stay in hotels a lot on a budget, and wasn’t expecting much with the price, but if I’m working away in Yarmouth again, I’ll be booking the Mayfair!

Location is fantastic Apartment is spacious, beds comfortable Kitchen has everything you'll need, microwave, toaster, oven, fridge, freezer.

Sofa bed didn't operate Toilet was loose on the floor

We booked an apartment which was absolutely lovely. It was clean and had everything we needed. Even milk for cuppa! Lovely lady from reception (spoke only on the phone, as I don't think there is a desk reception), very helpful. Very close to the beach and all the attractions and plenty of free parking.

Undergoing refurbishment, rooms clean, tidy, well equipped rooms, shower rooms and toilets very good, well maintained, although not ensuite one for each room, corridor's very scruffy, first impressions count
