Furzedown Hotel

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating the breakfast was delicious could not fault it..Parking was a bonus and the price was very reasonable would definitely stay here again Short walk to facilities..

Nothing really... everything was spot on...

Fantastic location, really great and helpful welcoming staff. Breakfast was really good. The staff very kindly offered us a nicer room for the first night which was a really pleasant change. All the staff were very friendly.

The first room we had did have a leak in the roof but Great Yarmouth is full of old buildings so it's not a huge surprise and it didn't negatively impact our stay. The second room (which was our original room) was a bit pokey and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I would have preferred to stay in the first room.

Excellent location and accommodation Breakfast amazing.

Property advertises free parking but upon arrival no parking spaces available, so had to park on main road

room compact but clean/tidy and comfortably

had upper 3rd floor room a side/end room with only side top opening window and room very warm {heating was turned off} admit did not ask but a fan would have been a help?

Brilliant location, comfortable room, superb breakfast, friendly staff.

Location great, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.

The rooms were comfortable. The bed ,very comfortable. Everything was clean.the staff were friendly and welcoming. And the food was excellent.

There was nothing I disliked

Everything, Food was amazingRoom was clean and comfortable Staff were greatHosts were lovely

We were on the top floor and the stairs were abit of a killer

Lovely breakfast that was at a table rather than a buffet, we prefer this as much more of a personal touch

Car park is small but managed to get in although did have to block another guest in they were happy for us to do so and they had our information and so did staff member who we had told

Great location - especially for the Park Run! It’s just away from the Main Street in town, so quiet but a few mins walk. Opposite a lovely park, good views.Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was great! Really quick service in the mornings.

Thin floors and walls. Could hear TV’s, creaking floor boards and people using the toilet in the night.

Friendly , helpful staff , clean rooms ,

Everything was good , maybe lack of a lift to second floor.

Great position. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely

NA

The property was very well looked after from the outside. When we went in side we was greeted with a friendly smile from the staff. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very friendly and cheerful

Location excellent, value for money , restaurant very good .

Smell of drains in room but did die down eventually .

Location is perfect for beach and sea front....room was nice and comfortable, albeit a little tight to get round the bed, as bed nearly touched the wall....but ye nice shower, coffee and milk and biscuits in the room....brekkie was nice....I prefer tinned tomato's on a breakfast which they don't do but that's just personal choice, I wouldn't knock em down for that...cooked to order, was nice, nice portions and good choice as well...

Nothing really

Easy access to town and sea-front

Party in the room 2 floors below us with exceptionally loud music that went on until 12 midnight. Understand they have to keep business going but considering the hotel was not fully booked could have made us aware and given us a room on the other side of the hotel.

Great breakfast

The only issue we had was the shower. Either freezing cold or boiling hot. Could nit get the right temperature

Brilliant very good staff room was great bar was great hotel was great

Seafront location. Family run hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Friendly staff, very helpful.

We arrived about 7.30pm to a very warm welcome at The Furzedown Hotel. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant with homemade Yorkshire Puddings to be proud of!! We could watch the park run volunteers setting up so location was perfect for our run on the Saturday morning, followed by one of the best hotel breakfasts you could wish for. Everything was commendable down to the owners and staff, room facilities, parking and most beautiful daffodils in the front garden. For us it was 10 out of 10 Thank you
